Role Overview

As a Global Solution Design Senior Specialist, you will play a pivotal role within the Liner Division and the Pricing and Quoting organisational unit. Your primary responsibility is to design, develop, and optimise end-to-end logistics solutions tailored to our global clients’ needs, with a focus on finished vehicle logistics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, and finance to deliver comprehensive and competitive offerings that align with industry trends and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of innovative logistics solutions, ensuring they are feasible, scalable, and aligned with both customer expectations and company capabilities.
• Collaborate with Pricing and Quoting teams to create cost-effective and competitive proposals, integrating market analysis and operational insights.
• Analyse current logistics processes and identify opportunities for improvement through technology, process optimisation, or new service offerings.
• Engage with global customers and internal stakeholders to understand complex requirements, translate them into solution designs, and support contract negotiations where needed.
• Provide expert knowledge in finished vehicle logistics to influence strategy, support key account management, and expand service portfolios.
• Maintain an up-to-date awareness of market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements impacting global logistics solutions.
• Mentor and support junior team members, sharing best practices and promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Skills and Qualifications

• Extensive experience in global logistics, preferably with demonstrated expertise in finished vehicle logistics and liner shipping solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design practical solutions balancing commercial viability and operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse international teams and customers.
• Experience in pricing strategies, quoting processes, and contract negotiations within a logistics or transportation context.
• Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are considered an advantage.
• Proficiency in relevant logistics and pricing software and tools, with a solid understanding of digital transformation impacts in logistics.
