How you create impact

At Kuehne+Nagel, our Global Services organization plays a critical role in enabling business performance through financial transparency, governance, and strategic decision support. As a Finance Controller, Global Services, you will partner closely with business leaders to drive financial performance, influence decision-making, and support sustainable growth across the organization. You will also serve as a trusted second-line finance partner to the National Finance Manager, helping ensure leadership continuity, governance excellence, and the successful execution of key financial and strategic initiatives.

• Partner with Global Services leadership to execute strategic initiatives and provide data-driven financial insights that support effective business decisions.
• Act as a Business Intelligence partner, transforming complex financial and operational data into meaningful insights, clear recommendations, and compelling business narratives.
• Lead data facilitation, automation, and innovation projects that improve access to information, simplify reporting, and enhance decision-making capabilities.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and full-year planning processes, ensuring alignment with operational and financial objectives.
• Analyze financial performance, productivity, profitability, and key business drivers, translating data into actionable recommendations.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models, scenario analyses, dashboards, and pricing evaluations to support growth and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to leverage data, analytics, technology, and emerging tools to improve financial processes and business performance.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives, process standardization, and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Oversee month-end activities, including provisions, reconciliations, variance analysis, and governance reviews.
• Deliver meaningful management reporting and KPI monitoring, ensuring stakeholders have timely and reliable visibility into business performance.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, and financial governance standards while safeguarding data accuracy and integrity.
• Contribute to a high-performing finance culture through knowledge sharing, training, collaboration, innovation, and leadership continuity..

What we would like you to bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Controlling, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• 5+ years of finance, accounting, or controlling experience within a multinational Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), or BPO environment.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, business analysis, and performance management.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling capabilities, with a strong focus on accuracy and governance.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders, build cross-functional partnerships, and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish, with experience working in multicultural and matrix environments.
• Strong capabilities in Data Warehousing, Reporting, Advanced Analytics, and Process Optimization / Automation.
• You will outstand if your professional background comes from the freight forwarding business.
• Strong passion for data and analytics, with experience developing Business Intelligence, reporting automation, data visualization, or data facilitation initiatives that enable faster and better-informed decisions.
