We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Global Senior Business Finance Partner - Alternative Investments.

In this role you will:

Business finance partnering & performance management

  • Support the CFO and senior stakeholders with timely insights on business performance, trends, risks/opportunities, and commercial outcomes.
  • Help embed a consistent monthly performance management rhythm (packs, commentary, actions) across global stakeholders, with a stronger focus on Asia growth priorities.

Alternatives-specific KPI suite & sales performance analytics

  • Produce and maintain Alternatives-specific MI, including sales, commitments, deployment, dry powder, and other agreed KPIs required by senior management.
  • Track and report a sales weighted pipeline (based on agreed methodology), including pipeline movements, conversion assumptions and clear linkage to expected AUM/fee outcomes.
  • Translate commercial activity into fee and P&L impact (e.g., management fee ramp, timing impacts, sensitivities).

Governance, reconciliation and “single version of truth”

  • Maintain KPI definitions and documentation; support consistent application across regions/products.
  • Perform and support reconciliations to confirmed/validated sources; highlight breaks and drive timely resolution with stakeholders.
  • Support sign-offs, evidence trails and change control for KPI definitions and MI outputs.

Forward-looking analytics

  • Support forecasting and planning analysis, including scenario/sensitivity work (e.g., deployment/sales timing impacts), run-off / fee-gap visibility, and other analytics as required.

Data quality, controls, automation and AI

  • Support ongoing strengthening of Alternatives data quality and MI control environment (reconciliations, validation checks, sign-offs).
  • Improve MI efficiency through automation, standard templates/datasets and reporting enhancements (e.g., dashboards).
  • Identify and support AI-enabled use cases for MI/analytics (e.g., anomaly detection, variance commentary support) where appropriate and governed, ensuring outputs are based on controlled data.

BAU finance support

  • Contribute to BAU deliverables as required (forecasting, cost control, entity reporting and planning inputs), ensuring MI aligns to Finance outcomes and deadlines.

Key stakeholders

  • CFO, Alternative Investments; global and Asia Alternatives senior management
  • Distribution and product/capability teams (global/Asia)
  • Operations / Fund Administration / platform teams
  • Regional/Group Finance, FP&A, Finance change/data teams
  • Risk/Compliance/Audit stakeholders as required

To be successful you will need:

Essential

  • Experience in business finance, MI, analytics, FP&A or commercial finance within financial services (asset management/investments preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, discipline around controls, and ability to produce senior-ready outputs.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience producing MI using BI/planning tools; experience with Tableau and/or Anaplan preferred.
  • Track record of working with multiple stakeholders across regions/time zones; clear and confident communication.

Preferred

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent).
  • CFA (or equivalent) an advantage.
  • Alternative Investments experience preferred but not essential (e.g., Private Credit, Infrastructure, Real Assets, Private Markets).
  • Experience with sales/pipeline reporting and KPI governance; ability to link commercial KPIs to fee/P&L outcomes.
  • Exposure to automation and/or AI-enabled analytics in a controlled environment.
