We are looking for a Data Author – HUB MDM SME to join our Global Supply Chain Data Management team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of supply chain master data that supports critical operational processes and business decision making.

About the Role

As a Data Author, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and governing master data in line with defined standards and business rules. Embedded within functional teams, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather validated data inputs, support MDM related initiatives, and enable high quality reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain master data records in compliance with data standards and governance policies
  • Ensure data completeness, accuracy, and timeliness across relevant enterprise systems
  • Collaborate with functional and cross functional teams to collect and validate data inputs
  • Support data quality initiatives, including the identification and remediation of data inconsistencies
  • Provide reliable, structured data to support reporting and dashboard preparation
  • Escalate data issues and anomalies to data stewards or appropriate stakeholders
  • Act as a subject matter expert for MDM related topics and support master data initiatives across functions

Your Profile

  • University degree or equivalent education, ideally in a scientific or business related discipline
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Understanding of master data standards, business rules, and data governance principles
  • Basic understanding of business processes, preferably in a supply chain environment
  • Experience working with enterprise data entry systems and tools (e.g. ERP, MDM platforms)
  • Strong analytical skills to support data validation, reporting, and mass data changes
  • Excellent attention to detail and a structured, well organized working style
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, cross functional environment
