Job Description

As an Associate within Global Regulatory & Policy Management (GRPM), you will join the Central Delivery & Enablement (CD&E) team responsible for delivering centralized regulatory operations, workflow administration, document governance, stakeholder engagement, and continuous process improvement across the Commercial & Investment Bank. The role will support the deployment of AI-enabled workflows, centralized operating models, and regulatory technology solutions designed to improve consistency, efficiency, and transparency across GRPM.

The team acts as a central hub supporting consistent execution, operational excellence, workflow enablement, AI-driven process optimization, and cross-CIB coordination. You will work closely with GRPM lines of business and their partners that include CIB Regional Controls, Firmwide Legal & Regulatory Change (LRCM) Program, Legal, Risk Management & Compliance and CIB business stakeholders to enhance regulatory processes and support the continued evolution of GRPM's target operating model.

Job Responsibilities

  • Dispositioning of Tier I regulations and obligations that apply at CIB level / Do not apply to CIB.
  • Ensure CIB wide Regulations e.g. Cyber Resiliency Act have clear ownership and are being managed for CIB.
  • Disseminating, assessing impact and ensuring CIB adherence to Firmwide Doc Governance policy and standard including inventory management, impact assessment coordination and quality assurance.
  • Coordinate centralized regulatory workflow and obligation management activities across CIB including exception management, escalation coordination, hygiene and cross-business engagement for complex regulatory and governance matters.
  • Administer and enhance regulatory technology platforms, including workflow support, user access management, testing, defect resolution, and release adoption.
  • Partner with Technology and Firmwide teams to implement automation, AI/ML capabilities, and process improvements.
  • Support audits, testing reviews, regulatory examinations, and governance inquiries by coordinating information requests and tracking remediation activities.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of GRPM's future-state operating model, including standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • 5+ years of experience in controls, governance, regulatory operations, compliance, risk management, business management, project management, or a related financial services discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working within structured governance and control environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience with legal obligations, regulatory inventories, policy governance, workflow platforms, or regulatory technology tools.
  • Experience supporting testing, change implementation, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with AI, automation, workflow design, data analytics, or reporting tools.
  • Experience partnering with Legal, Compliance, Technology, Audit, Controls, or Operations functions.
  • Knowledge of Alteryx, reporting platforms, workflow tools, or emerging AI-enabled capabilities.
