As part of the Sites Network, Global Capital Investment & Real Estate is responsible for improving the built environment of Roche globally. Within Global Capital Investment and Real Estate, the Global Real Estate Operations Manager is responsible for the tracking, analysis, and optimisation of our real estate portfolio, systems, and sustainability initiatives.
As Global Real Estate Operations Manager, you will ensure high data quality, financial compliance, and governance-compliant operations are delivered across the Roche occupied real estate portfolio.
The Global Real Estate Operations Manager supports the Global Lead Real Estate Transactions in implementing governance compliance, best practice processes, and managing real estate transactions. This role encompasses the management of real estate technology, data, and digital initiatives, delivering consistent high-quality performance within the real estate organisation while introducing innovative ways to optimise workflows.
As Global Real Estate Operations Manager you will have following responsibilities:
Portfolio & Transaction Support: Support managing real estate transactions and asset portfolios, ensuring data quality, M&A due diligence support, and providing governance approval quality control.
Green Leasing Programme: Coordinate the Roche Green Leasing program, including workflow management, performance measurement, reporting, and external certification.
Real Estate Systems & Data: Oversee real estate technology solutions (e.g. Lease Harbor, OutSystems/”CREM”), drive digital initiatives, and demonstrate AI fluency to automate workflows and enhance data analysis.
Reporting & Financial Compliance: Coordinate KPI tracking, support financial modelling, coordinate annual IFRS16 lease validation, and ensure accurate reporting.
Vendor & Budget Coordination: Track vendor performance (SLAs), invoicing, annual cost budgeting, and Purchase Order tracking.
Cross-Functional Support: Assist with M&A due diligence, support creation of leadership presentations, and drive continuous documentation improvements.
You hold a university degree (BA/BSc) in Real Estate, Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience
Strong analytical, estimating, and problem-solving skills, with expertise in financial model architecture, scenario analysis, and proficiency in Google Workspace and MS 365.
Keen eye for detail with a passion for accuracy in data, documentation, and compliance processes.
AI fluency and a proactive aptitude for experimenting with emerging tools to enhance workflows and outcomes.
Ability to think strategically and develop efficient, practical tactical methods to achieve objectives, while proactively anticipating risks across multiple projects.
Strong team player with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse and geographically dispersed internal and external stakeholders in both physical and virtual settings.
Self-motivated, disciplined, and accountable, demonstrating initiative, entrepreneurialism, and composure under pressure.
