Purpose of the Position

Owns global cross-functional resource and deployment planning for projects with installation and/or commissioning scope, creating transparency on demand vs. capacity and enabling efficient mobilization of site personnel worldwide.

Key Responsibilities (Accountabilities)

  • Process ownership of global resource and deployment planning for installation/commissioning workforce.
  • Consolidate demand across projects; align capacity and staffing options with ANDRITZ entities; maintain a single source of truth in the central tool.
  • Provide global forecasts and scenario planning (short/mid/long term) and translate insights into actions (prioritization, allocation, mitigation).
  • Define, monitor and report KPIs; drive continuous improvement based on data and feedback.
  • Ensure governance and global planning compliance; convene regular planning reviews and escalate constraints.
  • Coach project managers on planning standards and support tool usage; facilitate stakeholder alignment across time zones and cultures.

Decision-Making Authority

  • Defines and enforces global standards for resource planning within governance; escalates capacity constraints and non-compliance.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor/Master in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in resource/capacity planning and workforce scheduling in an international project environment (industrial projects preferred).
  • Proficiency with planning and reporting tools (ERP/PS, resource tools, MS Project, Power BI/Excel/LMS).
  • Formal training in project management fundamentals (e.g., PMI/PRINCE2).
  • Languages: English C1; German beneficial; additional languages an asset.

  • Professional: analytical capability; standard/process definition; KPI-based steering; understanding of installation/commissioning execution and HSE prerequisites.
  • Interaction: communication and facilitation; conflict resolution and escalation; training and coaching.

Working Conditions / Travel

Global coordination across time zones; occasional international travel for onboarding/field exposure.
