Job Description

Led by Rodolphe Saadé, the CMA CGM Group, a global leader in shipping and logistics, serves more than 420 ports around the world on five continents. With its subsidiary CEVA Logistics, a world leader in logistics, and its air freight division CMA CGM AIR CARGO, the CMA CGM Group is continually innovating to offer its customers a complete and increasingly efficient range of new shipping, land, air and logistics solutions.

Committed to the energy transition in shipping, and a pioneer in the use of alternative fuels, the CMA CGM Group has set a target to become Net Zero Carbon by 2050.

Through the CMA CGM Foundation, the Group acts in humanitarian crises that require an emergency response by mobilizing the Group’s shipping and logistics expertise to bring humanitarian supplies around the world.

Present in 160 countries through its network of more than 400 offices and 750 warehouses, the Group employs more than 155,000 people worldwide, including 4,000 in Marseilles where its head office is located.

As part of the Commercial Transformation team, you will play an active role in developing and supporting commercial products that enhance the maritime transport solutions we offer our customers. The scope of the role encompasses the CMA CGM+ range, commercial products, commercial partnerships, and/or any initiative aimed at expanding the catalog of commercial services offered to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Within the Commercial Transformation team, you will join the Product Lab, a team dedicated to designing and launching new commercial products, as well as developing new, more targeted, data-driven, and effective ways to sell them. You will be involved in projects from the very beginning—from identifying opportunities through to market launch—with a clear objective: to maximize the business impact of the initiatives developed (adoption, revenue, commercial performance).

You’ll work in a demanding environment, closely collaborating with diverse international teams (Business, Legal, Marketing, IT, Sales, etc.), and actively contribute to transforming how our products are designed and marketed.

As a Project Manager within the Product Lab, you act as a true orchestrator and manage projects end-to-end, from initial qualification through to hypercare, and are responsible for:

Qualifying and scoping opportunities

Opportunity Qualification and Scoping

Identify and qualify new opportunities aligned with business objectives and customer needs

Lead the discovery phases: analyze customer and business requirements, understand the market, and benchmark existing solutions

Structure and scope initiatives: define use cases, and formalize customer and internal journeys

End-to-End Management

Lead product design by coordinating all stakeholders (Business, IT, Sales, partners)

Facilitate business workshops and challenge requirements to ensure relevant and pragmatic solutions

Continuously arbitrate and prioritize to maximize project impact within a constrained environment (time, resources)

Ensure proactive, predictable project management: systematically anticipate risks, implement contingency plans in case of deviations, and prepare in advance for each milestone and progress review

Execution, deployment, and support

Provide clear, continuous visibility into project progress, particularly for management and key stakeholders

Establish monitoring metrics (adoption, revenue, sales performance) and track results over time

Prepare and structure all project processes (committees, weekly updates, materials), ensuring their effectiveness and decision-oriented focus

Prepare and lead go-to-market initiatives (go-to-market strategy, marketing materials, support for sales teams)

Risk Management and Hypercare

Organize the hypercare phase: close post-launch monitoring, resolution of issues, collection of field feedback, and rapid adjustments as needed

Document key learnings (feedback, best practices) and share them with the relevant teams

Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of Product Lab methods and processes

PROFILE AND SKILLS

We are looking for a candidate capable of working with a high degree of autonomy in a demanding and constantly evolving environment.

At least 3 years of experience in project management, ideally in product, innovation, or transformation environments

Strong analytical, synthesis, and organizational skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex issues

Ability to challenge stated requirements, distinguish between “nice-to-haves” and essentials, and propose more impactful alternatives

Business-oriented: ability to prioritize based on impact rather than solely on stated needs

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders

Ability to make judgments and decisions in unstructured environments

Preference for dynamic environments with multiple concurrent projects

Experience in transportation, logistics, or an international setting is a plus

Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.

You are comfortable working in a team in a multicultural environment.

Come along on CMA CGM’s adventure !
