Bruker Nano Surfaces & Metrology “BNSM” division is the leader in X-ray metrology / inspection and other tools for the silicon and compound semiconductor industries. As the leading supplier of advanced X-ray solutions to the top semiconductor companies, we have a global presence with offices in Israel (Migdal Ha’Emek), UK (Durham), and USA (San Jose), as well as sales and support offices worldwide.

We have an immediate opening in Israel, for a Global Product Support Engineer, to provide technical support to our semiconductor customers and field service engineers globally. You will be part of the x-ray technical support team, who specialize in x-ray metrology product support. You will also interface with factory team and contribute to improvement efforts and drive empowerment efforts.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will report to the technical support manager, who will agree expectations, offer guidance as necessary, and provide framework support.

Up to 25-30% travel domestically and internationally on short notice.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include

• Troubleshoot complex system problems using strong problem-solving techniques.
• Install systems in customer facilities, execute standard install tests, meet overall installation schedule, and ensure that system performance meets specifications.
• Execute complex system repairs in a quality manner and timely fashion.
• Perform maintenance support to the customer to ensure that the tool meets required specifications.
• Utilize e-diagnostics or software tools for analysis and reporting
• Timely complete and submit all required paperwork
• Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadline
• Become a trusted advisor and support service contract and new tool sales
• Around 30% travel domestically and internationally on short notice
• Outgoing and good at building relationships through inspiring trust and confidence.

Qualifications

• Degree Level in a related Engineering field such as Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Physics or Optics and/or commensurate industry experience
• One-year experience (or more) as a support engineer/service engineer/application engineer/ Process Engineer/Device Engineer in the semiconductor industry on multidisciplinary machines
• Former experience in the semiconductor industry or multidisciplinary equipment company.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
• Fluent English (oral and written) – Must
• Proven ability to develop, communicate, implement, coordinate team, and execute assigned project; achieving all required deliverables on time.
• Capability to learn quickly and establish solid understanding in complex technical topics.
• Able to independently troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Able to conduct trainings. Experience in writing documentation.
• Experience in using standard tools such as oscilloscope and multimeter.
• Good computer literacy, including familiarity with data system hardware and industry standard operating systems.
