How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Global Product Manager you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving specialty chemical solutions forward. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life.

The Lubrizol corporation has an exciting opportunity for a Global Product Manager who will support our Beauty and Home businesses within Lubrizol’s Life Sciences portfolio. As a Global Product Manager, you are accountable for the profitability and growth of assigned Life Sciences global product lines. You will create and implement the overall product line strategy to guide future developments and ensure the continued growth and financial performance of your product lines.

In this role, you will:

• Develop global product line strategy that maintains alignment with the business, market and technology strategies
• Align business needs with operations and supply chain to prioritize and maximize service capabilities to customers while identifying ways to minimize overall cost position and risk for obsolescence
• Lead focused meetings with sales, marketing, and operations in order to drive volume growth
• Lead the strategy for regional expansion by engaging with commercial partners in high-growth regions to develop business plans to justify asset expansion, while engaging with the cross-functional teams needed to successfully progress capital estimates and approvals

Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (degrees in chemistry or engineering preferred)
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in product management
• Proficiency with analysis using tools such as SAP, Power BI, Vendavo, Excel
• Demonstrated strategy development with global execution
• Financial acumen and quantitative analysis
• Proven ability to successfully lead cross functional teams through uncertainty
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• This position is located at our global headquarters in Brecksville, OH with infrequent travel requirements (<10%)
