Our global Fire Safety business involves many fields from detection, alarming, evacuation and extinguishing to danger and building management, as well as cloud-based solutions for remote site management. With our broad offering we ensure the protection of people, assets and businesses with the highest performance and efficiency.

As the  Global Product Manager Design & Planning Tools Fire Safety, you will drive the strategy and development of digital solutions that support the design, planning, specification and configuration of fire safety systems. Working closely with planners, consulting engineers, system designers, sales engineering teams and software development experts, you will shape the next generation of engineering and planning tools used throughout the building design lifecycle. Your focus will be on simplifying complex engineering and planning workflows, improving productivity, and enabling seamless integration with industry-standard design environments such as CAD and BIM platforms.

Your new responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for digital planning and design tools within the Fire Safety portfolio, focusing on growth and workflow simplification

• Customer-Centric Discovery: Lead product discovery with fire safety planners, engineers, and designers to identify needs, analyze workflows, and translate insights into prioritized product requirements

• Design Tool Integration: Drive integration of digital planning tools with industry-standard CAD/BIM platforms, ensuring alignment with engineering standards and interoperability

• User Experience & Quality: Continuously improve user experience and usability, ensuring a high-quality digital experience and driving improvements based on feedback and performance

• Collaboration & Advocacy: Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams, acting as the voice of the user and supporting go-to-market activities

Your skills and experience

• University degree or higher education in engineering or an equivalent qualification

• 3+ years of experience in product management or digital offering development, with a strong track record of successfully bringing digital products or services to market

• Strong experience within the Fire Safety industry or related building management systems

• Familiarity with design and planning tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and similar software

• Strong business acumen and a strategic attitude paired with technical affinity

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members at all levels and be effective as part of a broader distributed team

• Business fluent in English is a prerequisite. German and any other European language would be an advantage

• Start date upon agreement

Location this role will be based in Zug/Switzerland. Please note that qualified candidates need to be legally eligible for work authorization in Switzerland.
