Global Product Manager

HP is seeking a Global Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of integrated sustainability solutions spanning:
- IT Asset Disposition (ITAD)
- Carbon Emissions Sync Services
- Certified Refurbished Partner License Program (CRLP)
This role is a critical enabler of HP’s circular economy strategy, responsible for building scalable, globally consistent offerings that maximize value recovery, reduce carbon impact, and expand HP’s ecosystem of certified refurbishment partners.
The Product Manager will operate at the intersection of product strategy, sustainability, partner ecosystem development, and commercial execution, translating HP’s Renew and Sustainability Services vision into differentiated, customer-facing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and own the global product strategy and roadmap across ITAD, Carbon Sync, and CRLP offerings
- Align product direction with HP’s circularity, ESG, and Renew Services objectives
- Identify market opportunities to integrate reuse, refurbishment, and carbon reporting/offset solutions
- Drive portfolio integration across hardware lifecycle (trade-in → ITAD → refurbishment → resale)
2. Solution Integration & Innovation
- Develop end-to-end lifecycle solutions combining:
- ITAD value recovery and secure disposition
- Carbon emissions measurement and offset (Carbon Sync)
- Certified refurbished device programs
- Ensure solutions deliver:
- Measurable GHG impact reduction
- Consistent global customer experience
- Scalable reuse-first models
- Continuously evolve offerings based on customer, regulatory, and market needs
3. Partner Ecosystem & Program Management
- Build and scale HP’s global ecosystem of ITAD vendors and certified refurbishment partners
- Define certification, governance, and compliance frameworks for CRLP partners
- Drive partner performance across:
- Quality & compliance
- Value recovery
- Cost & logistics efficiency
- Enable expansion into emerging and infrastructure-limited markets
4. Carbon & Sustainability Integration
- Embed carbon visibility and reporting into all lifecycle solutions
- Partner with sustainability teams to deliver credible emissions measurement and offset frameworks
- Develop customer-facing sustainability reporting capabilities (e.g., avoided emissions, reuse metrics)
- Ensure alignment with global ESG standards and regulatory expectations
5. Commercialization & Business Impact
- Define pricing strategies, business models, and service constructs for integrated solutions
- Partner with Sales and Channel teams to:
- Enable effective solution positioning
- Support RFPs and strategic pursuits
- Drive revenue growth, margin optimization, and adoption across enterprise and channel segments
6. Operations, Governance & Compliance
- Establish global standards for chain-of-custody, reporting, and data security
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO) and HP policies
- Drive consistency across regions while enabling local flexibility
- Mitigate risk related to data privacy, environmental compliance, and cross-border logistics
7. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate across:
- Sustainability / ESG teams
- Supply chain and operations
- Finance and pricing
- Legal and compliance
- Sales and go-to-market teams
- Act as the global product owner, aligning stakeholders across regions and functions
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- 8+ years experience in product management, sustainability services, IT lifecycle, or related fields
- Strong understanding of one or more:
- IT Asset Disposition (ITAD)
- Circular economy / refurbishment
- Carbon accounting / sustainability solutions
- Proven ability to lead global programs and cross-functional initiatives
- Experience managing partner ecosystems or vendor networks
- Strong business acumen with experience in pricing, business models, and commercialization
Preferred
- Experience in hardware lifecycle services, reverse logistics, or supply chain
- Knowledge of carbon reporting frameworks and ESG metrics
- Experience working across multi-region (50+ countries) environments
- Familiarity with channel and partner-led business models

- Growth in ITAD and refurbished product revenue contribution
- Expansion and performance of certified partner ecosystem
- Measurable carbon impact reduction (GHG avoidance / offset adoption)
- Improved global consistency in reporting and customer experience
