The Senior Logistics Operations Manager / Global Process Owner (GPO) Warehousing supports the Senior Director of Distribution and collaborates closely with regional and local logistics teams to drive best practices across all Sonova's SAP Distribution Centers and locations. This role leads global warehousing processes, standard operating procedures, and system improvements to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and consistency across Sonova’s global logistics network.
Act as the Global Process Owner for Warehousing, driving global warehouse processes and SOPs in collaboration with regional and local teams
Develop, update, and maintain global SOPs and work instructions within Sonova’s quality system (eQMS)
Oversee change requests, testing, and approval processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Partner with global logistics teams to share best practices and continuously improve operations
Support ERP rollout projects, including user training, process testing, and change management
Manage risk, identify business issues, and collaborate with technical and functional teams to resolve them
Support daily logistics operations with a focus on outbound delivery coordination, capacity planning, and SAP calendar management
Monitor and improve SAP routing times and shipping condition accuracy to optimize delivery performance
Commercial or logistics-related education required; Bachelor’s or Master’s in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse management or logistics functions
Strong knowledge of SAP logistics modules (EWM, TM, GTS) and Microsoft Office
Project management experience, ideally in international or warehouse process design contexts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and ability to prioritize in fast-paced environments
Proven ability to develop processes, SOPs, and work instructions
Fluent written and verbal English; German and/or French a plus
