  • Translate policy, legal and business requirements into scalable Level 4 processes and Level 5 work instructions.
  • Maintain clear process documentation, controls, ownership, decision rights and handovers.
  • Define the global Time and Absence roadmap and prioritize improvements based on employee impact, risk, compliance, and business value.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for data accuracy, payroll readiness, timeliness, correction volumes, employee experience, and efficiency.
  • Use process data, recurring cases, and employee feedback to identify root causes and deliver structural improvements.
  • Reduce manual corrections, rework and avoidable employee and manager inquiries.
  • Lead standardization, simplification, automation and self-service initiatives.
  • Partner with Payroll to ensure reliable time-to-payroll interfaces, data quality and clear cut-off management.
  • Partner with IT to translate process requirements into system capabilities, integrations and configuration principles.
  • Ensure processes are compliant by design and aligned with internal control, privacy, security and audit requirements.
  • Assess the impact of legislative, policy and technology changes and coordinate implementation across regions.
  • Provide process leadership during implementations and transformation programs.
  • Act as the escalation point for structural and cross-regional process issues.
  • Build an effective global Time and Absence process community.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Management or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in Time and Absence, workforce management, payroll, HR operations or global process ownership.
  • Strong understanding of work schedules, time registration, leave administration and time-to-payroll dependencies.
  • Experience working across countries with different legal and operational requirements.
  • Experience designing and improving processes in a shared-services or global business-services environment.
  • Experience with HR or workforce-management platforms such as Workday and service-management platforms such as ServiceNow.
  • Experience leading process or technology changes involving HR, Payroll, IT, employees and managers.
  • Knowledge of Lean or comparable continuous-improvement methodologies is an advantage.

Skills

  • Ability to balance global standards with legitimate local requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder-management and influencing skills.
  • Ability to translate complex policy, legal and system requirements into practical processes.
  • Strong control and data-quality mindset.
  • Clear communication and facilitation skills, with fluency in English.

About ASML

Who are we?

ASML is an innovation leader in the global semiconductor industry. We make machines that chipmakers use to mass produce microchips. Founded in 1984 in the Netherlands with just a handful of employees, we’ve now grown to over 40,000 employees, 143 nationalities and more than 60 locations around the world.

What do we do?

We provide chipmakers with hardware, software and services to mass produce patterns on silicon through lithography. Our lithography systems use ultraviolet light to create billions of tiny structures on silicon that together make up a microchip. We push our technology to new limits to enable our customers to create smaller, faster and more powerful chips.

Who are our people?

While you may think that only engineers and mathematicians work at ASML, you'll be surprised to find out that our people come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Across ASML, we have dedicated teams that manage customer support, communications and media, IT, software development and more. Every team in the company is essential for pushing our technology and the industry forward.
