The Global Power+ Trainee program at Hitachi Energy VN. offers a unique opportunity for aspiring professionals to gain hands-on experience and develop expertise across various facets of Hitachi's power solutions business on a global scale. This rotational program is designed to cultivate future leaders who will contribute to Hitachi's commitment to sustainable energy and infrastructure.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • You will participate in a structured rotational program across different departments and business units within Hitachi's power solutions portfolio (e.g., engineering, project management, sales, R&D, manufacturing).

  • You will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of innovative power generation, transmission, and distribution solutions, assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring for large-scale energy infrastructure projects, conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the power industry.

  • You will support the sales and marketing teams in developing proposals and presentations for clients worldwide, collaborate with international teams and stakeholders on cross-functional projects, engage in continuous learning and professional development activities, including workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs.

  • You will prepare reports and presentations on project progress, findings, and recommendations, adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Power, Energy, Industrial), or a related field.
    Strong academic record with a demonstrable interest in the power and energy sector. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and international environment. Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.

  • Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally and relocate as required for rotational assignments, demonstrated leadership potential and a proactive attitude and prior internship or project experience in the energy industry is a significant advantage.

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken), knowledge of other languages is a plus.
