The role

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process for employees across the US or UK, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll delivery.
• Perform and review pre- and post-payroll reconciliations, reports, and payroll-related data to ensure accuracy and proper financial controls.
• Manage employee compensation updates, including salary changes, promotions, job changes, and mass data updates for exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Prepare and coordinate statutory reports, tax filings, and employee tax statements in line with applicable regulations.
• Monitor changes in payroll legislation, tax requirements, and employment regulations and ensure processes remain compliant.
• Partner with payroll vendors and service providers to resolve issues, manage system updates, and improve service delivery.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, Tax, Benefits, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate employee and payroll data.
• Support internal and external payroll audits and compliance reviews by providing required documentation and reports.
• Develop and maintain process maps, SOPs, and payroll documentation
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency within payroll and HR processes.
• Manage time-sensitive projects and deliverables in a fast-paced, global environment.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in US or UK payroll operations, preferably within a global or multinational organization.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes, employee lifecycle, payroll reconciliations, and compliance
• Working knowledge of US or UK payroll regulations, taxation, and statutory requirements
• Experience working with payroll vendors, HR systems, and ticketing platforms
• Knowledge of Oracle or similar HR/payroll systems
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for reporting and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to create and maintain process documentation and process maps
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and work effectively in a dynamic, global environment
