LOB Description:
Results-driven Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Test Manager with 10+ years of experience in treasury, payments, transaction services, and enterprise application testing. Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing QA teams while delivering quality engineering solutions across multiple parallel initiatives in Agile environments. Demonstrated success managing onshore, offshore, and distributed testing teams, driving testing strategy, quality governance, resource planning, and stakeholder communication across complex programs. Strong expertise in requirements analysis, data mapping, data validation, automation, integration testing, and quality assurance practices with a focus on data integrity, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. Experienced in performing system and data analysis aligned to business needs, including test planning, integration testing, automation strategy, and data quality validation. Skilled in establishing quality metrics, managing test execution across all test phases, coaching team members, and ensuring adherence to testing standards and best practices. Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, product owners, and senior leadership to drive successful project outcomes while maintaining high quality standards.
LOB Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage QA engineers, automation engineers, and test analysts across multiple strategic initiatives.
- Define and execute enterprise test strategies covering functional, integration, system, regression, data validation, and automation testing.
- Drive test planning, estimation, resource allocation, and execution across Agile delivery teams.
- Establish and monitor quality KPIs, automation coverage metrics, defect trends, and release readiness indicators.
- Partner with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, and Program Managers to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
- Mentor and develop team members through coaching, performance feedback, and career planning.
- Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations.
- Champion automation-first and shift-left testing practices to improve efficiency and quality outcomes.
- Lead defect triage, risk assessment, issue resolution, and executive-level quality reporting.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives that increase testing effectiveness and reduce delivery risk
This job is responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes, ensuring the testing strategy and processes are well-defined and continuously improved. Key responsibilities include establishing a test and automation strategy, creating common test frameworks, defining and managing test processes including test data generation, defect management and reporting. Job expectations include understanding and implementing internal/external mandate, ensuring compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments, and manages traceability.
Responsibilities:
- Creates and optimizes test processes including defect management and reporting
- Creates and optimizes test automation frameworks and use of test automation tools
- Leads test planning for complex features that span across the platform or multiple teams
- Creates a test automation strategy across the application stack (UI, API, and Backend, etc.)
- Ensures alignment and sign off for test cases from business and other stakeholders
- Manages test execution and resolves, communicates or escalates any issues that may result in test plan variance
- Designs test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of system design and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks (Cucumber, JUnit, Litmus).
- Relevant IT experience in Agile environments, preferably within the banking, financial services, or payments domain.
- Strong experience in Java, web services, and SQL /PLSQL (Oracle).
- Strong knowledge of XML and JSON within API and microservices implementations at scale.
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write complex cross-system queries.
- Experience with UNIX, shell scripting, and regular expressions (RegEx).
- Strong experience (3+ years) in parsing and generating data/files, banking standards, XML, and XPath.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Eclipse /NetBeans, Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, Litmus, Bitbucket (or similar version control tools), and web services testing tools.
- Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, defect triage, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and apply prior experience to new challenges.
- 5+ years of experience leading QA/Test Engineering teams in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Experience establishing and driving enterprise testing strategies, quality standards, governance processes, and testing best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple concurrent projects while balancing delivery timelines, quality objectives, and resource allocation.
- Experience creating and presenting executive-level test status reports, quality metrics, risk assessments, and release readiness recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across business, product, development, architecture, and operations teams.
- Ability to identify program risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive issue resolution through crossfunctional collaboration.
- Proven experience leading defect management and release-governance activities, including go/no-go recommendations.
- Strong communication, coaching, leadership, conflict resolution, and team-building skills.
- Experience fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, automation, and quality engineering excellence
Desired Qualifications:
- Exposure to cloud technologies and containerization (AWS, Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Experience implementing quality engineering transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with performance, security, and resilience testing practices.
- SAFe, Agile, Scrum Master, ISTQB, or equivalent quality/testing certifications.
- Experience leading enterprise-scale digital transformation, cloud migration, or modernization programs
- Experience managing testing budgets, vendor resources, and offshore/onshore testing models.
- Proven experience managing test teams ranging from 5- 20+ engineers, including resource planning, workload management, performance management, mentoring, and career development.
