Job Description

KLA is a global leader in diversified electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem. Virtually every electronic device in the world is produced using our technologies. No laptop, smartphone, wearable device, voice-controlled gadget, flexible screen, VR device or smart car would have made it into your hands without us. KLA invents systems and solutions for the manufacturing of wafers and reticles, integrated circuits, packaging, printed circuit boards and flat panel displays. The innovative ideas and devices that are advancing humanity all begin with inspiration, research and development. KLA focuses more than average on innovation and we invest 15% of sales back into R&D. Our expert teams of physicists, engineers, data scientists and problem-solvers work together with the world’s leading technology providers to accelerate the delivery of tomorrow’s electronic devices. Life here is exciting and our teams thrive on tackling really hard problems. There is never a dull moment with us.

Job Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced operations professional to lead strategic cross-site supply chain and sourcing programs across our global footprint — connecting Orbotech / KLA sites in Israel with operations and suppliers in Europe and Asia.

This is, first and foremost, a program leadership role. You will drive complex, multi-site initiatives — supplier transitions, cost reduction, NPI sourcing readiness, and supply continuity — by influencing engineering, operations, quality, and finance stakeholders across time zones and cultures. The role includes ownership of technology suppliers and broader technology purchasing responsibility, giving you both a strategic platform and meaningful commercial scope.

In addition to leading cross-operations programs, this role includes ownership of technology suppliers and technology purchasing activities, with flexibility to operate across different technology domains over time.

What you'll do

Lead cross-operation programs (primary)

  • Drive multi-site programs end-to-end across Israel, Europe, and Asia — including:

    • Supplier transitions and localization — moving production between suppliers or regions, second-sourcing, supplier consolidation.
    • Cost reduction initiatives — multi-site VAVE, should-cost, structural cost-out.
    • New Product Introduction (NPI) — sourcing and supply readiness for new products in lockstep with R&D and Operations.
    • Supply continuity and risk mitigation — dual-sourcing, allocation response, EOL planning, geopolitical risk.
  • Build and run program governance — define scope, milestones, RACI, risks, and success metrics; run steering reviews up to senior leadership.
  • Align stakeholders across functions and sites — Engineering, Quality, Planning, Manufacturing, Finance — and pull the right people in at the right time.
  • Lead through influence — no direct reports; success depends on credibility, clarity, and execution discipline in a matrix environment.
  • Manage international supplier engagement as part of program delivery — negotiations, technical alignment, audits, and on-site project work (~25% travel).

Own the technology supplier base

  • Shape the multi-year sourcing strategy for technology suppliers and maintain a healthy global supplier base.
  • Negotiate framework agreements, pricing, and long-term supply commitments.
  • Track and drive supplier performance: cost, OTD, quality (PPM), lead time, innovation.
  • Operate the procurement cycle in SAP / ERP.

Lead broader technology purchasing responsibilities

  • Develop and execute multi-year sourcing strategies across additional technology categories, ensuring a robust and diverse global supplier base.
  • Negotiate agreements, pricing, and long-term supply commitments to support business needs and foster supplier partnerships.
  • Monitor and drive supplier performance in areas such as cost, lead time, on-time delivery, quality, and innovation.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle through SAP to ensure efficient and ongoing operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, operations, or program management in a global manufacturing / high-tech environment.
  • Demonstrated track record leading cross-site or cross-regional projects — supplier transitions, NPI, cost-out, or supply continuity — across Asia, Europe, and/or US.
  • Strong matrix leadership — proven ability to drive outcomes without direct authority, across multiple functions and time zones.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication — comfortable presenting to senior leadership and engaging engineers, suppliers, and operations teams with equal fluency.
  • B.Sc./B.A. in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business, or Supply Chain — technical or business background both welcome.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial judgment.
  • Fluent Hebrew and English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%, primarily to Europe and Asia.
  • Eligibility to work on-site full-time at our Yavne facility.

We offer a competitive, family friendly total rewards package. We design our programs to reflect our commitment to an inclusive environment, while ensuring we provide benefits that meet the diverse needs of our employees.
