This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Procurement Team! This individual will lead and coordinate Global Procurement initiatives to support the Director of Global Operational Procurement and enhance site Procurement performance.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supports Working Capital initiatives by ensuring payment terms are aligned across sites and impact is captured in the tracker.
• Monitors and leads initiatives to improve on-time delivery and lead time adherence metrics, which includes ensuring that all Procurement fields in the D365 item master are maintained as correct and complete for all sites.
• Prepares monthly Alternate Supplier Qualification report and assists with program development at the sites.
• Executes local eSourcing activities including training of suppliers and running events within the guidelines provided and assists in constructing the monthly eSourcing plan. SME for eSourcing tool.
• Creates the Past Due PO report and ensures items are actioned to resolution to ensure materials are delivered to sites on-time and in full. Ensures POs are fully closed year by year in D365. Maintains blanket PO report and ensures funds are adequate and POs are properly maintained and closed at year end.
• SME in D365 Procurement module. Trains Procurement and site staff and provides expert support. Works with IT totest and implement new catalogues or other system improvements.
• Backup for Procurement Systems Specialist role, supporting day-to-day administration of procurement systems (e.g., D365 and eSourcing), including user support/troubleshooting, master data maintenance, P2P workflow support, reporting, and ensuring controls/compliance and required training are followed.
• Supports Vendor Maintenance team by ensuring supplier database is correct and complete. Maintains database of supplier contacts and ensures readiness when need arises to send bulk notifications.
• Supports AP Team by ensuring unpaid supplier issues are driven to resolution.
• Builds training programs and presents to stakeholders. Maintains training log and ensures staff follows training cadence.
• High level data analysis (Excel) and Power BI report creation as needed.
• Responsible for awareness and compliance of Procurement policies, procedures and systems and complies with them.
• Develops and maintains effective working relationships with business partners and stakeholders, both internal and external
• Conducts business with the highest level of integrity, ensuring compliance with Kindeva values
• Acts as global contact for Procurement related questions, feedback, transformations or service escalations in coordination with local Procurement Manager and Director of Operational Procurement.
• Ability to make decisions consistent with department position on various matters in the absence of the Manager, remain current with company Procurement policies.
• Participates in self-development activities and provides training to peers and internal stakeholders
• Execute other duties as assigned.
• Travel 0-5%

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, or related field desired, with a minimum of 5+ years related experience in Procurement or 3+ years’ experience in Procurement with a master’s degree. Procurement Certification (APICS, CPSM, etc.) preferred.
• Pharmaceutical or life sciences industry experience preferred.
• Understanding of the procure to pay process, sourcing and inventory control.
• Experience working with project teams.
• Experience negotiation preparation and execution preferred.
• Ability to deliver clear, concise presentations to diverse audiences and stakeholder levels.
• Excellent communications skills both oral and written to communicate clearly and effectively with others, including the ability to make effective presentations.
• Must demonstrate intermediate +/advanced skills in Microsoft excel, PowerPoint and Word, including ability to take raw data and use it to manipulate and/or create pivot tables, use VLOOKUP, complex formulas and related tables, graphs and charts.
• Knowledge of D365 preferred.
• Practical experience in eSourcing (SAP Ariba) preferred.
