Whatyou'lldo:
Defend and manage complex litigation, regulatory investigations, andenforcementmatters across multiplejurisdictionswithin the PwC network.
Assist PwC network firms in managing significant claims and reputational threats, coordinating with insurers and other stakeholders to protect the network's broader interests.
Conduct and oversee internal investigations of potential illegal acts and other significant policy violations.
Providetimely, comprehensive reports on sensitive matters to firm leadership and key stakeholders.
Manage outside counsel across multiplejurisdictionsto obtainoptimaloutcomes andcontaincosts.
Identifyandanalysecomplex legal, regulatory, and business issues,providingstrategic advice on applicable legal and professional standards, often on a time-sensitive basis.
Collaborate on best practices andmonitorlegal and regulatory developments thatimpactthe network.
Assess and leverage technology and work management tools (e.g., eDiscovery) tomost effectively support matters
Whatwe'relooking for:
Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification.
Significant law firm or in-house experience handling complex litigation and regulatory investigations.
Experience withdefenceof audit or other professional services firms (preferred).
Demonstrated experience handling cross-border matters and/or matters outside of the US.
Strong ability to evaluate and defend matters including complex securities and commercial litigation, class actions, professional malpractice, regulatory enforcement, white collar criminal matters, arbitration, and mediation.
Proven ability to manage multiple cases, matters, and projects simultaneously, including teams of internal and external resources.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build consensus and interact effectively with all levels of firm management and leadership.
Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills for both legal and non-legal audiences.
