About the Team

The Global Monetization Product and Technology Legal team supports TikTok’s innovative, state‑of‑the‑art advertising products. The team works fast, tackling the most exciting legal issues that arise from disruptive technological innovations and providing proactive, creative guidance.

Responsibilities

- Product counseling & legal review - Partner with global Product and Engineering teams from concept through post‑launch, proactively identify legal risks, and deliver practical mitigation strategies for Performance‑Ads features.

- Cross‑functional collaboration - Coordinate with a broad range of legal partners to provide consistent, comprehensive global advice.

- Strategic horizon scanning - Monitor emerging legal, regulatory, and technology trends that could impact performance advertising, and spearhead internal initiatives such as policy updates, training programs, and best‑practice frameworks to keep the product team ahead of the curve.

- Process improvement - Build scalable internal systems and processes and provide practical, creative solutions to help accelerate TikTok's launch velocity.
