Partner with the best

As the Regional Tax ManagerLATAM, you will work with a team of professionals to deliver strategic and operational objectives that align with the talent mobilization strategy. 

As the Regional Tax Manager LATAM, you will be responsible for

  • Delivering on the vision to build a best-in-class GM Tax function.

  • Handling all wing-to-wing tax reporting and tax accounting processes including forecasting, tax provision, compliance and settlements

  • Working with our tax services vendor to drive innovation, cost efficiencies and highest level of service.

  • Coordinating the end-to-end employee tax support experience for the Region.

  • Staying connected with the market practices and help implement leading edge solutions for the tax program.

  • Balancing strategy and execution that come with the practical challenges of operating in a large and complex organization.

  • Developing and optimizing tax planning strategies, streamlining processes, driving solutions with regional tax leads for operational challenges

  • Communicating effectively with other functional areas and influencing peers to meet the objectives

  • Investing and maintaining connections with the leadership and key stakeholders to be in the know and building upon the existing GM brand

  • Engaging with key stakeholders to educate and drive continuous improvements

  • Executing other initiatives that are within the scope and purpose of the role.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have to

  • Exhibit strong leadership skills, executive presence, and ability to navigate complex situations.

  • Have advanced knowledge in expatriate tax and social security programs within LATAM, including experience in managing the complexities of a large program with multiple channels of international mobilizations

  • Exhibit strong communication skills including ability to articulate tax technical matters to employees and stakeholders with no tax background.

  • Demonstrate big picture thinking and ability to make connections on how talent mobility fits into Baker Hughes strategy.

  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.

  • Effective problem identification and solution skills.
