Global Mobility is transitioning from an operational support function to a strategic, data led capability that enables effective deployment of talent, cost control and firm performance. The function operates a centralised model, combining policy, vendors, technology and shared services to deliver consistent, scalable and commercially disciplined mobility solutions aligned to workforce planning and the firm’s priorities.
This role is the operational lead for Global Mobility delivery across UK, EAME, MENA and Asia, with accountability for service delivery, workload management and operational performance.
It owns operational performance across volumes, ensuring capacity aligns to demand and work is allocated and managed effectively across the team, including supporting complex and priority operational caseload. The role drives service quality, delivery consistency and efficient case progression. The position ensures policy is applied in practice, risks are appropriately escalated and stakeholders receive a clear, responsive and well-managed service.
It plays a critical role in embedding the global mobility / HR Shared Services operating model, improving workflows, supporting automation and strengthening reporting to enable a more efficient and scalable delivery approach
It will also play an important role in delivering key projects as they arise.
Freshfields is an equal opportunities employer and all applications received by the firm will be considered on the basis of their merit alone. We welcome applications from all suitably qualified individuals regardless of background. All offers of employment will be conditional on the candidate having/securing the right to work in the UK in the role in question and providing the firm with evidence of that right (as required by the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006) prior to employment commencing.
Freshfields is a Ban the Box employer. We ask applicants to disclose criminal convictions only if and when a conditional job offer is made. A conviction does not automatically lead to withdrawal of the offer: we make decisions on a case-by-case basis and take a number of relevant factors into account (e.g. the role you are applying for and the circumstances of the offence). You would have the opportunity to discuss the matter with us before we make a decision.
