About the Job:

The Global Mobility Analyst ensures the organization can attract and retain world-class talent and bring the Yum culture to life through program management and administration of the US domestic relocation and global mobility programs in partnership with the Yum Global Mobility Leader. This role supports as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all things mobility for Yum!, its Brands, and international business units, and collaborates closely with a host of internal stakeholders and external vendor partners to ensure smooth delivery of mobility support. The Global Mobility Analyst not only provides critical support for our assignees to improve the overall employee experience, but also modernizes our programs and policies by providing insights that enhance mobility strategies and processes.

You will be required to attend the Louisville, KY office three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday).

Salary Range:

$80,300 - $94,300 + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Primary Responsibilities:

Program Administration (20%)

• Owns database entry/management for internal and external tracking tools. (WeichertGo, internal trackers, accrual report)
• Vendor initiations and management. (Weichert, EY)
• Coordination with US and global HR and Payroll teams to ensure proper payments and transfer of assignees from one BMU to another.
• Leads quarterly Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) reviews by working directly with 3rd party relocation partner and aligning BMU HR to upcoming changes. When necessary, connect directly with expat data provider for interpretation of data tables to ensure BMU questions are answered.
• Own calendar management for all critical mobility meetings and required actions.

Internal Stakeholder Support & Assignment Planning (40%)

• Consults with HR Leaders on appropriate mobility benefits/packages for US domestic and global mobility. Full leadership of US Domestic offers and 20% leadership of cross-border offers.
• Partner with brands on US domestic and international offer processes, driving collaboration between HR, Total Rewards (TR), Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders.
• Owns offer package comparison preparation for 3rd party tax analysis on owned cross border assignments (Net Pay Analysis & Tax Cost Estimates); relay results of analysis to BMU HR and provide recommendations on proposal and next steps.
• In partnership with Yum Legal, own creation of mobility documentation for BMU HR to finalize employment contracts for upcoming assignments (prior alignment with Yum Legal).
• Develop and deliver frequent training and education on mobility programs to Division and Brand partners in partnership with Global Mobility Leader. Owns all updates and design of training materials. Own content development and lead delivery of all US Domestic Mobility materials.
• Analyze ad-hoc requests related to cross-border business travel, short-term assignments (STAs), and unique working arrangements.
• Identify, investigate, and research complex mobility issues; provide recommendations to senior leaders and HR to develop and assess alternatives and solutions that work for the business and employees while maintaining program effectiveness.
• Lead development and delivery of annual internal communications for Home Leave, Expense Blackouts, etc., to inform both assignees and internal HR partners on upcoming deadlines

Assignee Support (5%)

• Act as the first-tier level support for assignee mobility queries; consulting with employees upon move and addressing relocation questions and support, including recommending appropriate solutions, issue escalation, and exception management.

Financial and Compliance Support (5%)

• Own processing of all mobility vendor invoices in a timely manner by accurately coding and completing within contractual timeline provided by external vendors.
• Build and maintain financial coding tracker.
• Work closely with third-party providers, other vendors, and internal Finance/Control/Payroll and HR partners by addressing frequent ad-hoc questions related to moves and associated accruals.

Data Analysis & Reporting (5%)

• Analyze data to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance the global mobility program.
• Execute accurate record keeping for all global mobility activities.
• Partner with HRIT team to develop and enhance mobility dashboard with relevant, accurate, and timely data.

Vendor Management (5%)

• In partnership with Global Mobility Leader, manage day-to-day operations for external vendors including but not limited to tax, relocation, and expat data providers.

Process Improvement (10%)

• Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance global mobility programs and processes to improve the employee experience and overall program efficiency. Provide recommendations for policy changes to Global Mobility Leader for escalation to leadership alignment.
• Conduct benchmarking and collecting stakeholder feedback.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new mobility policies and procedures.
• Develop and improve onboarding processes, internal HR tools, and assignee facing resources.
• Own internal Mobility Teams site ensuring the latest versions of tools are uploaded, access list is appropriate, and development of new tools to enhance the HR partner experience.

Project Work (10%)

• Execute Year-End Process for all globally mobile talent including:
• Data collection and entry of assignment details in HRIS.
• Package Reviews
• Review assignee packages and benefits regularly to ensure compliance with global mobility governance
• Prepare agreements when changes are required to ensure company recourse with guidance from Yum Legal on appropriate contract usage
• Complete ad-hoc project work per business need

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analysis, or a related field, preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in global mobility, HR, or data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strategic mindset to innovatively problem solve/think outside the box.
• Proactive sense of urgency, action driving, and accountability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of global mobility practices, including relocation processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to manage and complete multiple priorities and tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certification in Global Mobility (e.g., GMS) is a plus.
