How you Succeed

To excel in this role, you'll need to stay ahead of the curve, constantly monitoring market trends and analyzing data to identify opportunities and risks. You'll build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs. Your ability to think critically and make quick decisions will be essential in this fast-paced environment.

What you Do :

  • Knowledge of foreign markets (US/CAD/Europe) mechanics and versatile in executing different types of orders.
  • Good understanding and the ability to react to all financial news, economic and market data, central bankers and government news.
  • Ability to analyze charts, trends, and macroeconomic factors to make informed decisions.
  • Strong client relationship management and the ability to converse clearly with all clients (retail & HNW), foreign brokers and Trading Representatives.
  • Manage and provide timely execution of trades for Institutional, Corporate accounts, Retail Clients and Remisiers. Utilisation of Bloomberg, EMSX function, counterparty trading systems.
  • Assist in other dealing functions (eg. Trade reporting, Off Market deal, careful discretionary orders) for both institution and Retail clients.
  • Familiar with basic function of Bloomberg, Reuters and other order management system will be a plus.
  • Regulatory awareness and familiar with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate Workflow interface between back-room operations and foreign brokers.
  • Cover UK/Euro, Canada and U.S markets and helped in relevant time zone shifts when required.

  • Possess current SFA/FAA Licence or passed CMFAS papers 1a,5,6 and 6A or equivalent.
