Roles and Responsibilities

As the Global Marketing Operations Lead, you will lead the following key pillars:

1. Financial Stewardship & PO Management

  • End-to-End PO Process: Own and manage the full lifecycle of the Purchase Order process, ensuring timely execution and alignment with corporate procurement standards.
  • Budget & Spend Stewardship: Act as the primary steward of the marketing budget, tracking global spend and providing regular visibility to leadership.
  • Financial Literacy: Leverage a high level of data literacy to interpret financial reports, manage accruals, and ensure marketing investments drive measurable impact.

2. Process Architecture & PMO

  • Operational Efficiency: Identify internal business challenges and recommend best practices to improve marketing workflows and services.
  • Process Architecture: Design and implement robust process architectures that bring a central thread to marketing initiatives across the organization.
  • Project Management (PMO): Lead the Marketing Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring large-scale projects are delivered on time and within scope.

3. Governance, Compliance & Agency Management

  • Supplier & Agency Governance: Oversee the onboarding and management of external agencies and suppliers, ensuring adherence to GE HealthCare standards and performance KPIs.
  • Compliance Oversight: Manage global marketing compliance and workflow oversight to ensure all activities meet internal and external regulatory requirements.
  • Standardization: Drive best practices and enable a consistency of approach across the global marketing organization through effective tool management.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Progressive experience in marketing operations, project management, or financial operations within a global, matrixed organization.
  • Operational Expertise: Proven track record in managing complex budgets and the end-to-end procurement/PO lifecycle.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of marketing automation tools, ERP systems, and project management software (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional financial and data literacy with the ability to translate complex data into actionable operational insights.
