We have an exciting opportunity within a Global Brand Team (ADCs) for a Global Marketing Associate Director Reporting to the Global Commercial Director, this role supports the development and leads the implementation of global strategic plans within the priority disease area of Breast Cancer. The role works collaboratively as part of a strategic partnership model with key global, regional, and country leads across the US, Europe, and Asia, as well as a broad range of headquarters functions including Marketing, Analytics & Insights, Digital, Diagnostics, Pricing and Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and others. The role also collaborates closely in an alliance partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
Support brand strategy development Partner with the Global Commercial Director to support development of the global brand strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams and key markets.
Lead the implementation of strategic plans. Drive brand strategy and tactical planning. Collaborate with global, joint, and local teams for detailed execution of key launches and lifecycle outputs aligned with business cycle expectations.
Partner with markets to optimize performance Work closely with key markets to understand performance drivers and barriers and refine plans to improve business outcomes.
Translate insights into action Support ongoing insight generation and engagement with external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patients, and advocacy groups, and apply insights to brand strategy and execution.
Deliver high-impact congress plans: Lead coordinated plans to develop opportunities at key industry congresses, working alongside international teams and relevant cross-functional partners.
Shape patient-focused strategies Develop patient-centered strategies and deliverables in partnership with global teams and markets, helping to optimize patient experience.
Build internal community and alignment Strengthen the internal brand community by providing leadership across markets, sharing launch and execution learnings, and supporting engagement and communication efforts.
Requirements:
Education Bachelor’s degree in a science or business-related discipline.
Commercial experience Strong marketing and/or sales background with track record of working effectively across global, regional, and local teams in a complex matrix organisation.
Global brand strategy experience: Experience supporting or leading global brand positioning efforts in partnership with cross-functional teams and key markets.
Launch and lifecycle management experience: Hands-on experience supporting product launches, pre-launch readiness, and lifecycle initiatives with strong attention to execution excellence.
Customer understanding Experience and knowledge of a broad base of external stakeholders, including patients, prescribers, payers, and providers.
Insight-led strategy development Demonstrated ability to use insights to develop effective marketing strategies.
Cross-functional leadership Effective project leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to inform, persuade, and lead across functions and markets.
Prioritization and autonomy Ability to prioritise multiple priorities simultaneously with a high degree of independence.
Collaborator management Effective relationship management experience, demonstrating skill in building positive relationships across different levels internally and externally.
