The Senior Director, Global Market Deployment & Readiness Lead is a newly created senior leadership position reporting to the CFC & Marketing CRM Portfolio Product Lead within the Global Commercial Excellence & Enablement organization. This role has been created in direct response to the expanded scope, complexity, and strategic importance of the CFC CRM which encompasses a multi-year, multi-wave global rollout covering international markets and the United States.

This role is the single point of accountability for all aspects of market deployment and readiness across the CFC portfolio. The Senior Director will lead a team of direct and indirect reports spanning market deployment, change & communications, compliance and will serve as Pfizer's authoritative voice on go-live readiness at International and US Steer Co.

This is a high-visibility, high-accountability role that requires an experienced senior leader who can operate with authority across a highly matrixed, global, multi-functional environment, balancing strategic direction with program execution discipline at pace

ROLE RESPONSIBITIES

  • Own end-to-end accountability for market deployment and go-live readiness across all CFC CRM waves Internationally & US.
  • Set and hold the deployment standard, the bar for what 'ready' means for any market to go live, and the authority to call it when a market is not ready.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the integrated deployment plan, including all milestones, dependencies, risks, and critical path items across workstreams.
  • Represent market deployment at International and US Steer Co readouts as required.
  • Establish a 30/60/90 planning cadence that gives the program, and senior stakeholders consistent, credible visibility of deployment status.
  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of direct and indirect reports across market deployment, change & communications, compliance, commercial and medical delivery.
  • Establish clear role accountabilities, performance expectations, and development plans for each direct report.
  • Manage the dotted-line relationship with the Market Deployment SI Lead ensuring SI delivery is focused, scoped, and delivering against program milestones
  • Create the conditions for the team to perform at the highest level, clarity, pace, decision-making authority, and a no-surprises operating culture.
  • Own the market readiness framework. The criteria, process, and evidence required to confirm that each market is prepared to go live.
  • Lead PIC (Pilot in Command) engagement across all markets ensuring local market leadership is aligned, informed, and accountable for their readiness milestones.
  • Oversee deployment logistics, training readiness, and post-go-live HyperCare planning for each market wave.
  • Establish and own the works council engagement framework across all markets with local pilot in commands ensuring the process, timeline, and market obligations are understood, tracked, and met.
  • Work closely with the Compliance Lead and Legal to ensure all market deployments satisfy local regulatory and works council requirements before go-live.
  • Ensure compliance considerations are embedded in deployment planning from the outset, not managed as a late-stage risk.


US Deployment Planning

  • Lead the development of the US deployment approach in partnership with US commercial leadership, ensuring the US plan is fully integrated with the international program timeline and governance.
  • Represent US deployment requirements at Steer Co and ensure US business unit engagement is structured and governed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all market-facing deployment communications, in partnership with the Change & Communications Lead.
  • Manage upstream and downstream implications of timeline decisions, ensuring affected workstreams, markets, and leadership are informed and aligned.
  • Engage directly with International Cluster Leaders and Country Presidents to maintain confidence in the program and accountability for market commitments.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA Required; MBA or equivalent Master’s-level education preferred
  • A minimum 12+ years’ experience, preferably in pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5+ years of experience in managing diverse/global teams
  • Demonstrated ability to carry out process excellence, knowledge management and project management.
  • Prior global or above market experience.
  • Leading and understanding agile ways of working and product development lifecycle.
  • Navigating consumer privacy and / or healthcare data landscape at scale
  • Deep understanding and passion for CRM and content platforms, technologies (especially in areas across Customer-facing colleagues)
  • Experience in working with engineering teams in designing scalable architecture that meets the needs of marketing and sales co-workers.
  • Experience evaluating product decisions strategically and making prioritization tradeoffs, leveraging large datasets to make data driven product decisions while collaborating with multiple stakeholders and cross functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and mastery of working in a matrixed environment.
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to execute with speed and high quality.
  • Demonstrated business acumen strong analytical skills and mindset.

  • Experience in leading complex, large scale business projects and initiatives, identifying risks and removing roadblocks to enable teams to achieve successful delivery.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $214,900.00 to $358,100.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
