Job Purpose
This role will manage the DP World Forwarding Organization in all aspects of setting-up, maintaining, using and enhancing DP World´s Rate Repository and Pricing Tool (NPM). Align with the Coordinate with the commercial lead, in the development of the Quotation Tool (QT). This includes continuous improvement of both modules, user training, and process design. Establish and maintain complete, current, and competitive rates in the rate tool.
In addition, regular analysis of uploaded data shall ensure a constant high quality of stored data can be maintained. And appropriate action is taken towards constant tool enhancement. This role will also play a key part in defining and driving the global pricing and rate management strategy, ensuring alignment with the wider commercial and operational goals of the business. This includes influencing tool roadmaps, enabling strategic decision-making through data insights, and embedding global best practices in pricing governance.
Key Accountabilities:
Create, maintain, and update global and local rate sheets for data upload in NPM
Ensure correctness of tariffs, surcharges, and validity rules
Manage mass uploads, amendments, and seasonal rate changes
Resolve rate-related operational issues and exceptions
Support commercial teams with pricing enablement needs
Lead the design, development, and rollout of the Network Pricing Module (NPM) as a global standard.
Define rate governance and approval structures to ensure rate accuracy, transparency, and margin protection.
Align pricing processes with operational and financial objectives across regions.
Work closely with Finance, Procurement, and Product teams to link pricing to cost-to-serve and profitability models.
Ensure integration between the NPM module and TMS for end-to-end visibility from quotation to performance tracking.
Establish KPIs for pricing accuracy, margin realization, and rate utilization.
Build and lead a small expert team focused on NPM enhancements, governance, and user adoption.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Skilled in creating and managing road maps, prioritization frameworks, and business case development for system improvements.
Familiarity with change management practices and stakeholder engagement strategies.
Minimum of 10 years work experience in LSP environment, in-depth knowledge of LSP industry and its value drivers
Professional degree in freight forwarding would be an asset
Familiar with operational procedures and price setting in LSP environment
Support and guide teams at a senior level
Excellent interpersonal skills and capable to navigate senior corporate structures
Capable to deliver results with short notice
Open minded towards new developments/ innovations
Strong analytical capabilities (root cause analysis)
Good written and oral communication skills
Open to fully adapt towards a digital working environment
Good oral and written English as the principal language for DP World
Additional key languages would be considered an asset
Strong PC skills (Window, MS-Office applications) preferred
