About the job:

Global Maintenance Engineer support the Global Maintenance Leader in strengthening the deployment of TPM roadmap. Global Maintenance is part of Global Engineering team which leads the Global Standardization of the different key Engineering disciplines implemented by site Engineering teams. Global Engineering goal is to provide World Class Engineering support to Global Production Operations, driving change across the entire company, implementing modern and effective means to improve Production throughput performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Firsthand partnership with Global Maintenance leadership in the execution of TPM roadmap, leveling up the maturity of best practices through all Global TechOps production sites
  • Participate actively in, or potentially lead the:
    • definition of harmonized standards methods and tools prioritizing simplicity and efficiency
    • definition of training materials, facilitation of training, support for capability building
    • identification and drive of continuous improvement initiatives
    • follow up of action plans and standards fulfillment seeking objectives achievement
  • Key user, SME / owner of the definition, deployment and consolidation of the CMMS-EAM system (Computer Maintenance Management System – Enterprise Asset Management System)
  • Support the implementation and consolidation of TPM pillars’ best practices: Autonomous Maintenance, Planned - Preventive Maintenance, Focused Improvement, Budget fulfillment and Asset Management
  • Collaborate actively, develop and standardize TPM frameworks, CMMS-EAM, KPIs, and audit protocols across sites
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, increase OEE, and extend asset life
  • Introduce / facilitate the implementation of digital tools (e.g. Performance Dashboard, EAM, Data Analysis, IoT, Predictive Maintenance, use of AI for Data Analysis or FMECA elaboration)
  • Support reliability engineering efforts including RCA, FMEA, and condition monitoring
  • Participate in or manage multi sites projects liaising with cross functional areas (Engineering, Production, Safety and Quality …) ensuring alignment, GMP + HSE compliance fulfillment and facilitating change management
  • Conduct benchmarking, drive best practices sharing across global sites
  • Occasional travelling: up to 2 trips per month (3-5 days each)
  • Potential longer stays for CMMS rollout (up to 3 weeks)

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrotechnical, Industrial, Technology) or equivalent
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
  • In-depth Engineering Maintenance experience (5 years) in an Engineering / Maintenance function in the pharmaceutical industry (or industry with comparable regulated processes )
  • Solid knowledge of GMP Pharmaceutical norms, Asset Qualification and HSE
  • International multi-site site project experience, participating in global initiatives
  • Demonstrated Project/ teamwork and change management abilities leading technical projects and cross functional teams aligned around business/technology/project processes
  • Expertise in reliability tools: RCA, FMEA, RCM, TPM audits
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma
  • Advanced user of msn Office pack tools, CMMS platforms (SAP PM …), data analysis & reporting tools (Power BI, Excel VBA, Python…)
  • Good facilitation and training dispensing skills, taste for knowledge sharing
  • Well-developed communication skills, able to present comfortably to Senior Management and to technical experts
