We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Lead, Litigation & Compliance Response to lead our cross-regional Trust and Safety team based in Dublin, Ireland, with team members in Malaysia, Ireland, and the United States. In this senior leadership role, you will own the global operating model for litigation and compliance response, drive performance across time zones, and serve as the primary point of contact for senior cross-functional stakeholders across Legal, Policy, Product, and Trust & Safety leadership. You will combine deep subject-matter expertise in regulatory compliance and digital safety with strong people leadership, operational rigor, and the ability to influence at scale.
Responsibilities:

- Global process ownership: Own and continuously improve end-to-end global processes for handling regulatory inquiries, legally required user appeals, illegal content reports, and compliance escalations, ensuring consistency, quality, and auditability across all regions.
- Strategic oversight: Provide strategic direction on responding to regulatory inquiries, compliance risks, and legal obligations globally (with particular focus on Europe), and translate evolving regulatory requirements into operational priorities and roadmaps for the team.
- Cross-timezone coordination: Establish operating rhythms, coverage models, and handover practices that enable seamless 24/7 coverage and balanced workload distribution across the Malaysia, Ireland, and US sites.
- Stakeholder management: Act as the primary senior point of contact for Legal, Policy, Product and Trust & Safety leadership; represent the function in cross-functional forums and influence decisions with data-driven insights.
- Escalation handling: Serve as the senior escalation point for high-risk, high-sensitivity, or precedent-setting matters; exercise sound judgment and ensure timely, well-reasoned responses to regulators, law enforcement, and internal leadership.
- Strategic input into compliance frameworks: Contribute to the design and evolution of global compliance frameworks, risk-containment strategies, and policy positions; identify emerging trends in content safety, privacy, and digital regulation and ensure the company stays ahead of compliance risks.
- Operational excellence & reporting: Define KPIs, SLAs, and quality standards; oversee preparation of reports, dashboards, and documentation that support regulatory responses, internal governance, and executive reviews.
- Risk management: Partner closely with legal, policy, and trust & safety teams to assess regulatory risks, design mitigation plans, and ensure regional safety and compliance requirements are consistently met.
This is a permanent, full-time senior leadership role based in Dublin, Ireland, with responsibility for a global team distributed across Malaysia, Ireland, and the United States. Some flexibility outside standard Dublin business hours will be required to coordinate effectively across time zones.
