Job Description

We are looking for a structured and detail-oriented Global Library Manager to oversee the governance, lifecycle, and deployment of our global DCS and MES library across multiple manufacturing sites.

In this role, you will ensure version alignment, drive standardization, and enable efficient and compliant deployment across Denmark and the United States. You will play a key role in maintaining a robust and scalable automation foundation, supporting both system reliability and operational efficiency in a complex, regulated environment.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Govern the global DCS & MES library standards and lifecycle, ensuring a single source of truth
  • Monitor versions across systems and plan and coordinate upgrades with local system owners
  • Design and execute migration strategies across sites in Denmark and the U.S.
  • Build standardized, installation-ready migration packages including relevant documentation
  • Ensure traceability by linking documentation, validation material, and change logs to deployments
  • Coordinate stakeholders across Manufacturing, Engineering and QA to ensure readiness and alignment
  • Execute change and compliance workflows in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Perform validation and post-deployment checks, capturing learnings and ensuring continuous improvement
  • Deliver transparent reporting and dashboards on migration progress, compliance, and performance
  • Identify risks, manage issues, and drive incident response and improvement initiatives

About the area and the team

You’ll be based in Denmark within our on-site automation hub, reporting to the Head of Automation (DK) and working closely (dotted line) with our Solutions Architect, who is currently based in the U.S.

As you grow into the role, you will also collaborate closely with our U.S. automation team. While our development teams span much of Europe, Denmark is home to a vibrant core of automation engineers.

The department is multicultural, friendly, and fast-moving—built on collaboration and continuous learning—where you’ll partner across teams to deliver robust, scalable automation in a supportive, modern engineering environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Experience coordinating projects across global teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a structured and detail-oriented manner in a complex environment
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

Qualifications (nice to have):

  • Experience within industrial IT, automation, or enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of DCS or MES environments is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Experience with configuration management, version control, and deployment processes
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and documentation best practices
  • Experience working in regulated or highly controlled environments

To be successful, you will need:

  • A strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach
  • The ability to manage complexity and dependencies across systems and sites
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions and geographies
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and navigate complex technical ecosystems
