YOUR ROLE

  • The position will manage one of our global key accounts, which is a major Chinese Telecom Company, market leader.
  • The position will lead the profitable development of designated Global Accounts at global level through positioning CEVA LOGISTICS as a strategic business partner, and delivering agreed programs through a team drawn of dedicated people across CEVA LOGISTICS.
  • Ensure proper collection and compilation of the Supply Chain information
  • Generate deviation alerts and ensure proper resolutions
  • Manage material and resources forecasting needs
  • Ensure customer relationship management
  • Ensure sub-contractors and vendors relationship management

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

The Global Account Manager has the Commercial Ownership for the consistent delivery to the customer in areas of “cost to serve” and “cost of service”, operational excellence, innovation and development, in addition to the following specific key responsibilities.

1. Customer

Establish a complete and detailed mapping of all business stakeholders at HQ, Regional and Country level of the client.

Build long term partnership with our customer’s management teams.

Key activities

  • Seek to position CEVA LOGISTICS as a strategic partner of the Customer, through proposing business solutions that add value to the Customers business and enhance its performance and reputation.
  • Identify opportunities
  • Lead and coordinate the response to RFIs/RFQs related to destination service
  • Negotiate main contracts (non-local ones), manage compliance with the main contracts (non-local ones)
  • Identify and develop effective relationships with key contacts within targeted Customer organizations, to ensure maximum leverage for CEVA LOGISTICS's interests.
  • Build customer confidence in CEVA LOGISTICS's ability to respond to their current anticipated needs, by developing in-depth understanding of Customers' problems and influencing CEVA LOGISTICS’s strategy accordingly.

2. Control Tower strategy

Constantly work with the Control towers teams and the customer, participate to design of new processes, ensuring all SOP and KPI are adhered to, shortfalls are corrected on priority.

  • Design and develop the Control Tower strategy in accordance with the customer’s expectations and requirements.
  • Define new CT functions/tools to be used and ensure its objectives are achieved by the entire Control Tower team

3. Monitor and animate CT network

  • Organize with regional CT monthly Business Review: Volume, KPI, Pending Issue, Achievement, Payment situation.
  • Drive regular workshop/meeting/conference call for implementation of a new process, to review performance, to gather all parties involved in issue together.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Degree in Business / Logistics / Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years of related work experience in Freight Forwarding (Both Air & Sea Freight)
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in Global Account Management of MNC, with a proven track record
  • Proven track record and experience working in Asia would be a plus
  • Knowledge in Contract Logistics and Supply Chain will be a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of HW's business, organization structure, business processes and financial structure.
  • Strong business development mindset with consultative, solution selling and business development skill at high management level to align the customer's business needs with company's solutions.
  • Able to integrate global resources and lead to a win-win situation
  • Excellent English, command of French will be really helpful
