What will your responsibilities be?

  • Resolve incidents and service requests, remotely and in person, within agreed SLAs and KPIs, keeping users informed until the issue is closed.
  • Deploy and support end-user devices across their full lifecycle, including configuration, patching, inventory and warranties.
  • Run employee onboarding and offboarding, including accounts, permissions, passwords, multifactor authentication and access requests.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID and AWS services, including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint and meeting room technology.
  • Work with colleagues to find root causes, and escalate complex issues while maintaining ownership and communication.
  • Automate routine support work with PowerShell, and use approved AI tools to improve triage, troubleshooting and knowledge content while protecting company and user data.
  • Write the documentation, procedures and knowledge base articles that make the next fix faster.
  • Respond to suspected phishing, malware and compromised accounts in line with our security procedures.
  • Support colleagues across time zones, including agreed out-of-hours coverage where required.

About you

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured approach.
  • Clear communicator who remains composed under pressure.
  • Ownership-driven, autonomous, and proactive in improving systems and processes.
  • Strong collaborator with a security-minded approach to operations.
  • Disciplined in documentation, operational rigour, and continuous improvement.

About Orbis Investments

We are a global firm with offices in 8 countries around the world, around 400 employees globally and almost $40 billion in assets under management. Our investment philosophy is fundamental, long-term and contrarian. As contrarian investors, we aim to take a different perspective and this filters into everything we do. To invest differently, you need to think differently. And this means having teams of people with different backgrounds, experiences and ways of thinking.
