Global IT Manager - MX (Hybrid)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global IT Manager to join our world-class client’s team for a start-up operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing our global IT operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all IT systems and infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record in managing IT operations across multiple locations.

Work Type: Hybrid (Based in MX w/ USA travels)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

• Minimum of 7-10 years of IT management experience, with at least 3 - 5 years in a global role.

• 7+ years’ experience in ERP (Microsoft Dynamics)

• Preferably located in Mexico

• Proven experience in managing global IT projects and leading diverse teams.

• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the global IT strategy in alignment with business goals.

• Identify and assess emerging technology trends to determine their potential impact on the organization.

• Lead and manage a diverse global IT team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members.

• Oversee daily operations of the global IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency.

• Manage global IT budgets, resources, and vendor relationships.

• Develop and enforce robust cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect digital assets.

• Conduct regular security assessments and implement measures to mitigate risks.

• Lead and manage global IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support of IT initiatives.

• Drive continuous improvement in IT processes, systems, and services.

• Champion the adoption of innovative technologies to enhance operational efficiency and business performance.

• Ensure compliance with relevant international laws, regulations, and standards.

• Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks and best practices.

• Serve as a key liaison between IT and other departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.

• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on IT performance and initiatives.
