Your Role

As Global IT Infrastructure Manager (m/f/d), you play a key role within BEUMER Group’s global IT organization. You are responsible for shaping, evolving and operating a worldwide IT infrastructure landscape that reliably supports business operations, digital transformation initiatives and international projects. Your goal is to provide scalable, secure and high‑performing platforms while driving automation, innovation and cost efficiency.

Your Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the global IT platform and infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives and digital transformation priorities
  • Lead the design, implementation and operation of a global infrastructure landscape covering compute, storage, virtualization, on‑premises, hybrid and cloud platforms
  • Ensure high availability, performance, monitoring and security across the global infrastructure environment
  • Drive automation, Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices (e.g. Terraform, Ansible) to increase stability and delivery speed
  • Oversee data center operations, cloud migrations and optimization of hybrid infrastructures across AWS, Azure and GCP
  • Collaborate closely with application and development teams to ensure seamless integration and scalable, high‑performance platform services
  • Own enterprise‑wide backup, disaster recovery and business continuity concepts, including testing and continuous improvement
  • Lead a global team of infrastructure, platform and network specialists and manage cloud providers and strategic partners, including KPI definition and reporting

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, cloud platforms or enterprise architecture in complex environments
  • At least 4 years of leadership experience managing global IT infrastructure or platform teams
  • Proven track record in leading large‑scale IT operations and cloud transformation initiatives
  • Required certifications: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ and ITIL v4 Specialist: Create, Deliver and Support
  • Strong expertise in hybrid and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), automation, security and compliance
  • Experience in IT cost optimization as well as vendor and contract management
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills combined with sound decision‑making ability
  • Very good written and spoken English; German language skills are a strong advantage
