With over $100 billion in assets under management and a team of nearly 300 investment, finance, and operations professionals, LMI offers the look and feel of a boutique investment firm with the reputation and financial strength of a global leader.

What You'll Do

As a Global Investment Solutions Co-op, you will contribute to real projects that support how LMI manages technology, data, products, operations, and strategic initiatives.

You will work alongside professionals across investments, operations, product management, data, and technology while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

As a co-op, you'll be aligned to one of the following Global Investment Solutions teams:

  • Financial Products – Automation & Productivity: Support initiatives that improve how employees work and how operational information is used across LMI. Work may include enhancing dashboards, improving employee lifecycle processes, and partnering with stakeholders to identify and document automation opportunities.
  • Data & Analytics Governance: Work on more technical data and AI-focused initiatives involving data quality, governance, dashboards, and AI-enabled data access. Experience or coursework in areas such as SQL, Python or scripting, APIs, cloud data platforms, data visualization, or data governance is helpful.
  • Investment Products: Work at the intersection of business, technology, and product management by supporting product ownership, requirements development, and Agile delivery. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, software development lifecycles, systems thinking, or technology-enabled product development is helpful.
  • Operational Strategy & Delivery: Gain exposure to the operational processes that support LMI’s investment activity across areas such as trade operations, accounting, treasury, loans, and other investment functions. Work may include documenting processes, building centralized knowledge resources, identifying gaps, and supporting process improvement initiatives.
  • Strategy & Execution: Support transformation and program-management initiatives that help LMI teams implement strategic priorities and new ways of working. Work may include process improvement, stakeholder communications, program reporting, change adoption, and the development of playbooks, process maps, and other materials.
