Job Description

This role offers broad exposure across the Investment Banking franchise, providing an opportunity to develop a deep understanding of business drivers, organizational priorities, and regional operating dynamics while contributing to initiatives that enhance franchise performance and scalability.

As a Vice President in Global Investment Banking Business Management based in Singapore, you will support the Southeast Asia and India Investment Banking franchise in driving execution across business priorities, financial management, workforce planning, governance, reporting, and strategic initiatives. The role sits at the center of the business, partnering closely with country bankers, product teams, Finance, Recruiting, Technology, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and other support functions to coordinate activities across multiple markets and stakeholders. You will be responsible for driving execution against key priorities, producing management reporting and business insights, coordinating governance activities, supporting resource planning, and helping deliver initiatives that improve business performance, transparency, and operational efficiency across the region.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and drive execution across key business priorities for the Southeast Asia and India Investment Banking franchise.
  • Support business planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, headcount tracking, hiring approvals, and resource allocation.
  • Produce regular management reporting, dashboards, and executive-ready materials covering revenues, pipeline, productivity, clients, expenses, and key business metrics.
  • Consolidate and analyze business performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Coordinate management meetings, governance forums, operating reviews, and business updates, ensuring follow-up on actions and deliverables.
  • Partner with Finance, Human Resources, Recruiting, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams to support business initiatives and manage dependencies.
  • Drive process improvements, simplification initiatives, and workflow enhancements to improve operational efficiency and consistency across the region.
  • Support implementation of automation, data visualization, AI-enabled tools, and reporting solutions to improve productivity and management information.
  • Track and coordinate delivery of regional projects and multi-country initiatives, ensuring stakeholders remain aligned and informed.
  • Partner with control functions to support a strong risk and control environment, including audits, reviews, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support communication and coordination across country and product teams to ensure effective execution of regional priorities. Lead workstreams independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 8 years of relevant experience in Business Management, Finance, Strategy, COO, Consulting, Operations, Corporate Banking, Capital Markets, or Investment Banking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into clear business insights.
  • Experience preparing management reporting, business reviews, presentations, and executive-level materials.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate stakeholders across functions and drive execution in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience supporting budget management, forecasting, headcount planning, and business reviews.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization or reporting tools. Interest in leveraging automation, analytics, and technology solutions to improve business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Experience within Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Capital Markets, Coverage, M&A, ECM, DCM, or Financial Sponsors businesses.
  • Experience in a Business Management, COO, Finance, Strategy, Consulting, or Project Management role.
  • Experience coordinating initiatives across multiple countries or regional stakeholder groups.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools, workflow automation, visualization platforms, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
  • Experience supporting process improvement or operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of governance, controls, and operating procedures in a regulated environment.
  • MBA, CFA, accounting qualification, or other relevant professional credential.Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
