Purpose:
Responsible for leading and coordinating the global inventory development, planning and optimization for production units in Pulp, Energy & Circularity, Packaging and Tissue Ensure Inventory control practices and development is compliant according to inventory policies and in line with business objectives. Scope of the global production inventories in this role: P&P, Pressure parts, Consumables and Fabrics.
Key responsibilities:
Lead production inventory(Materials, WIP & Finishedgoods) development actions globally to ensure efficient inventory management in production units
Develop and execute strategic action plans forproductioninventory optimization and compliance
Collaborate withbusiness areas, production,procurementand project management to optimizeinventory and service level of production inventory and warehouses
Monitor production inventory performance metrics, analyze data, and provide regular reports to stakeholders, making data-driven decisions
Drive digital transformation in production inventory management
Deliversignificant, sustainable networkingcapital-relatedsavings through inventory management
Support global materials management processes tooptimizeinventory levels in production units
Ensure global inventory control practices for production units (critical items, scrapping, review materials selection periodically and controlkey materials)
Conduct internal auditstoinventory management practices andidentifyareas of risk
Drive process development in close cooperation withLogistics and MaterialsManagement Excellence team and otherinternal stakeholders
Serve as a member ofMaterialsManagementcore teamand Global inventory management team.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you need tohave
7+ years of experience ininventory management,logisticsand material management practices withexperience of leadershiproles, preferably in the context of global industrial manufacturing.
Advanced degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply ChainManagementor related field
Demonstrated success inproductioninventoryoptimizationandwarehousefoot-print optimization
Entrepreneurial mindset with clear drive to lead changeand transformation ofbusinessinglobal, networked environment.
Hands-onexperience inwarehousing,logisticsoperationsandinventorymanagement
Strong matrix management capabilitiesandexperience with a successful track record
