Job Description

Global HR Workday Data Migration Manager

Location: Portugal (Lisbon) or India (Hyderabad) – Preferred for immediate start

Work Mode:Remote / Hybrid.

The Mission:

We aren't just moving data; we are re-architecting the global talent landscape. Randstad is currently migrating HR data from 63 legacy systems into a single, unified Workday instance across 39 countries

We need a "Battle-Hardened" Implementer —someone who finds "structured" data boring and thrives in the complexity of global-scale transformations. This is your opportunity to "make this your house," laying the sustainable groundwork for how the world’s largest talent company manages its people data.

What You Will Achieve

  • Drive Global Migration: Lead the end-to-end extraction, transformation, and validation for 9 European countries in the immediate wave.

  • Lead a Specialized Team: Mentor and manage 5 direct reports, including an Automation Specialist and 4 Data Migration Specialists.

  • Automation Leadership: Use SQL logic and tools like KNIME, Alteryx, or Python to fix workflows when the team gets stuck, ensuring migration happens at speed and scale.

  • Stakeholder Diplomacy: Act as the bridge between global design and local data stewards, translating complex Workday logic into actionable local understanding.

What You Need to Succeed

  • "Combat Experience": At least two global end-to-end rollouts are more valuable to us than a Workday Certification.

  • Consultancy DNA: Background in "Implementation Factories" like Accenture, KPMG, Cognizant, or the Big Four where you’ve managed high-velocity, high-complexity projects.

  • Technical Fluency: Working knowledge of SQL and experience building automations (scripts, macros, or ETL workflows).

  • System Expertise: Essential experience in Workday , SAP, or SuccessFactors.

Important Note: This is an Implementation & Strategy role, not a maintenance role. We are looking for a leader who wants to "own something from start to finish".
