About the Role

As a Global Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Expert, you will play a key role in developing and deploying the HSE strategy within CEVA Logistics' Project Logistics business.

Acting as the HSE reference point for complex international projects, you will operate at the intersection of commercial teams, operational teams, customers and local HSE teams to ensure HSE requirements are fully integrated throughout the entire project lifecycle, from tender phases through to project execution.

This position combines global coordination responsibilities with operational support activities. It requires a high level of autonomy as well as the ability to engage, influence and support multicultural teams across an international environment.

You will work on high-risk industrial projects within sectors such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure, Construction and EPC projects.

The role has a strong European focus while supporting projects worldwide depending on customer requirements and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead HSE coordination for international projects

  • Support Project Logistics teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, from tender phases to operational execution.
  • Develop and implement project-specific HSE plans.
  • Ensure HSE requirements are properly integrated into operational activities.
  • Coordinate activities between global teams, local country teams, customers and project stakeholders.
  • Provide HSE expertise and guidance to project managers and operational teams.

Support commercial activities and tender processes

  • Support commercial and tender teams in the preparation of customer proposals and bid submissions.
  • Develop and adapt HSE documentation according to customer requirements and local regulations.
  • Maintain and continuously improve HSE documentation databases.
  • Contribute to promoting CEVA's HSE expertise to customers.

Drive global and cross-functional HSE coordination

  • Harmonize HSE practices across countries and projects.
  • Collaborate with local HSE teams to ensure compliance with CEVA standards and local regulations.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between international stakeholders.
  • Challenge, support and engage local teams to maintain high HSE performance standards.

Drive performance and continuous improvement

  • Monitor and analyze HSE performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses.
  • Define and monitor corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HSE processes, tools and practices.
  • Contribute to strengthening the safety culture across the Project Logistics organization.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an HSE professional with solid experience in complex and international industrial environments.

You are recognized for your ability to work within matrix organizations, coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliver pragmatic solutions in demanding environments.

You can easily alternate between strategic thinking and operational execution while demonstrating autonomy, leadership and a strong results-oriented mindset.

You are comfortable interacting with customers, project teams, operational teams and international stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in HSE roles within Project Logistics, Oil & Gas, Energy, EPC, Construction or other complex industrial project environments.
  • Proven experience supporting international projects.
  • Ability to develop HSE plans and adapt documentation to customer requirements and local regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of international HSE standards, particularly ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, audits and incident investigations.
  • Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and engage teams across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Additional languages are considered a plus.
  • Relevant HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO Lead Auditor, etc.) are highly valued.
