The Opportunity

As Global Head of HVDC Construction & Commissioning (C&C) Installation, you will lead a global department responsible for delivering world-class installation performance across HVDC projects. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution, while shaping strategy, building capabilities, and driving continuous improvement. This is a senior leadership position with broad influence across projects, tenders, and organizational development.

How you will make an impact

  • Lead the global HVDC Installation department, ensuring alignment with C&C strategy and business objectives.

  • Oversee installation activities across tenders and projects, providing direction, tracking performance, and driving corrective actions.

  • Manage and develop a team of Regional Managers, ensuring optimal resource allocation and workload distribution.

  • Ensure strong contribution to tendering activities, including resource planning, scheduling, constructability, and technical reviews.

  • Drive subcontracting strategy by supporting contractor selection, technical evaluations, and contract inputs.

  • Own budget planning and cost control for both department and project-related activities.

  • Champion health, safety, and environmental (HSE) excellence across all installation operations.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting lessons learned, knowledge sharing, and best practices.

Your background

  • Extensive experience in HVDC, power transmission, or large-scale energy infrastructure projects.

  • Proven leadership experience managing global or regional teams in construction, installation, or commissioning environments.

  • Strong expertise in installation practices, site execution, and constructability reviews.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and complex project interfaces.

  • Solid understanding of HSE standards and commitment to safety leadership.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in a global matrix organization.
