What you'd be doing in this role

As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that’s all part of the fun.

As our Global Head of Creative Production, you’ll lead how world-class creative campaigns come to life across every market and channel. You’ll sit at the intersection of creativity and execution, building the systems, partnerships, and teams that enable Canva to deliver bold, culturally resonant work at global scale.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Leading global campaign production end-to-end — overseeing the delivery of consecutive campaigns across paid and owned channels, from early concept through to final execution across film, photography, digital, social, print, and experiential
  • Building scalable production systems — designing and embedding operational frameworks, workflows, and processes that enable teams to deliver high-quality creative efficiently across multiple markets
  • Driving operational excellence at scale — managing timelines, budgets, and resourcing across a wide range of productions (from $25K to $5M+), ensuring delivery meets both creative and commercial expectations
  • Partnering with creative and marketing leadership — working closely with Global Creative Directors and Marketing teams to shape roadmaps, prioritise initiatives, and ensure alignment between creative ambition and execution
  • Leading global vendor and partner ecosystems — managing relationships with agencies, production companies, and external partners, while building a strong global network that unlocks creative excellence
  • Owning global production infrastructure — overseeing production services, payroll, vendor management, and compliance across regions, including navigating union requirements and local regulations
  • Integrating AI and modern production practices — identifying and implementing new tools and technologies that improve efficiency, scalability, and creative output across workflows
  • Driving cross-functional collaboration — acting as the bridge between creative, marketing, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery in a highly matrixed environment
  • Building and leading a high-performing team — hiring, mentoring, and developing a multidisciplinary production team, while fostering a culture that balances creativity, accountability, and operational rigor

You’re probably a match if

  • You bring 15+ years of experience leading global, multi-channel creative production across film, digital, social, print, and experiential
  • You’ve successfully delivered large-scale campaigns across regions like LATAM, SEA, North America, and EMEA
  • You have deep expertise managing complex production ecosystems — including agencies, vendors, production services, and global infrastructure
  • You understand the nuances of union and compliance requirements and how to navigate them at scale
  • You’ve delivered high-budget productionsnwhile maintaining exceptional creative quality
  • You have experience managing celebrity talent, contracts, and agency relationships end-to-end
  • You’re a strong people leader, with a track record of hiring, mentoring, and scaling high-performing teams
  • You bring a strong commercial mindset — balancing creative ambition with budgets, timelines, and business impact
  • You’re confident operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, and highly matrixed environments
  • You’re excited by modern production practices and actively explore how AI can improve workflows and output
  • You’re a clear, influential communicator who can align and inspire stakeholders across global teams

About the team

You’ll be part of our Global Advertising function, working at the heart of Canva’s brand and growth engine. This team is responsible for delivering campaigns that resonate across cultures, markets, and audiences — helping bring Canva’s mission to life for millions of users around the world.
