Job Description

Purpose of the Role

To lead the development and governance of global HCP content strategies, toolkits, and templates across Opella’s brand portfolio. This role ensures that all HCP-facing content is insight-led, compliant, modular, and adaptable for local market activation. It sits at the intersection of brand strategy, scientific messaging, and omnichannel delivery — ensuring high-quality, high-utility content is delivered consistently and efficiently.

  • Organisational Excellence:

    • Zone and market onboarding to new global operating model

    • Global Brand & Zone capability CONTENT / PERFORMANCE / ETHICS maturity through Advocacy Academy

    • % of toolkits delivered to HCP Zone Leads on time and to specification

    • Positive 360% feedback Growth Hub, commercial and functional partners

  • Value Creation:

    • Field and HCP feedback on content utility and clarity

    • Content adoption rate across brands and markets

    • Localisation rate and content re-use efficiency

    • Alignment with validated Scientific Message Maps and brand strategy

    • Modular production ROI (cost/time savings, asset reuse)

    • Content performance metrics (recall, engagement, field satisfaction)

    • Creative, catchy and clutter breaking content (awards, high scores on Total content recall)

  • External recognition:

    • Professional Partnership preferential programmes for Health Literacy eg: FIP

    • Excellence recognition: awards, thought leadership, advocacy impact

Primary Accountabilities

  • CONTENT EFFECTIVENESS

    • HCP insights for all brands eg: universal insights for pharmacists across all brands

    • Lead the creation and delivery of frameworks and standards for HCP Global Brand-led and local brand-led toolkits and content frameworks .

    • Develop approach to ensure all content is anchored in approved scientific messaging, meets regulatory requirements, and is optimised for omnichannel delivery and is creatively impactful.

    • Oversee the global content calendar, aligning campaign assets with brand and medical priorities.

  • CREATIVE EXCELLENCE

    • Owner and conduit of content briefs and design to move individualised agency driven content to internal agencies.

    • Creative Councils, Communities of Practice – Jedi same as Crazy Elevate Creativity

    • Embed content KPIs and dashboarding into campaign reviews and continuous improvement cycles.

  • CONTENT CREATION EFFICIENCY

    • Support content capability building across zones through playbooks, workshops, and knowledge-sharing.

    • Owner of HCP creative content agency roster-build, nurture, and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure modular, clutter-breaking content that allows easy localisation and versioning in markets.

    • Partner with the CoE and agencies to manage production timelines, templating, and QC processes.

    • WONKA development

    • Driving efficiency with E2E process oversight

  • OPELLA BRAND to BRAND INTEGRATION

    • Co-lead (with HCP Science lead) Health Literacy narrative for HCPs /and partnership with Zone HCP Leads to activate locally

    • Integration of Health Literacy into patient materials and HCP training materials

    • Co-lead (with HCP Science lead) the thought-leadership for HCP Health Literacy initiatives

Education & Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, Communications or related field

  • Training in scientific content development or regulatory writing is desirable

Experience & Technical Skills

  • 8–10 years of experience in healthcare content strategy or medical communications

  • Proven track record managing cross-functional content development at global level

  • Proven creative flare to build insight driven content plans for HCPs

  • Strong understanding of promotional/non-promotional content boundaries

  • Skilled in modular content systems, localisation workflows, and approval platforms (e.g. PromoMats, Veeva Vault)

  • Ability to manage agency partners and production vendors effectively

  • Clear communicator and collaborator across scientific, creative, and commercial teams[KP1]
