The Global Freight Forwarding Solution and Implementation Senior Supervisor, leads the development and execution of complex, customized air and ocean solutions for UPS customers, with a strong knowledge of healthcare and cold chain shipping requirements. This role oversees multiple concurrent, large-scale customer implementations, ensuring solutions are compliant, scalable, operationally executable, and delivered on time. The Senior Supervisor provides end-to-end project leadership, driving alignment across operations, pricing, IT, and external partners, while serving as an escalation point to maintain momentum and quality. This role is responsible for assigning solution files, monitoring team deliverables, and reinforcing consistent execution and accountability across all workstreams while growing Healthcare business to meet business plans.

Leadership & Team Oversight

  • Assist with training and development of Freight Forwarding Solutions and Implementations supervisors

  • Assign solution files to team members, ensuring workload balance and clear ownership

  • Ensure team stays on task and meets deadlines, quality standards, and deliverables

  • Assist with customer projects as needed

  • Assist with report creation as needed

Project Management & Execution

  • Strong background in project management required

  • Manage and oversee multiple concurrent Freight Forwarding solution and implementation projects

  • Ensure projects remain on track; proactively manage risks, dependencies, and escalations

  • Establish and monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables

  • Provide concise, executive-ready updates on project status and performance

Solution Development & Implementation

  • Oversee the design, documentation, and implementation of customized Freight Forwarding solutions

  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are complete, accurate, and operationally executable

  • Support healthcare and cold chain solution requirements as a subject matter expert

  • Maintain high level of quality and attention to detail

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with operations, commercial teams, pricing, IT, and external vendors to ensure alignment

  • Act as an escalation point for internal stakeholders and customer-facing teams

  • Coordinate across functions to support seamless implementation and delivery

Customer & Business Impact

  • Support revenue growth through effective solution development and execution

  • Strengthen customer relationships through reliable and scalable outcomes

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and standardization

Additional Criteria

  • Must have previous project management, freight forwarding, and healthcare logistics experience - Preferred

  • Job Grade: 20F - Supervisor

  • Shift Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM. May require schedule flexibility depending on business needs.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $78,960/year to $146,400/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
