What’s the role?
Bloomberg’s Legal & Compliance Department plays a critical role in supporting our businesses and operations around the world. We move quickly and thoughtfully to help address a variety of complex legal issues that arise across the Company’s various businesses. Our team is made up of talented and hardworking professionals who think creatively and work collaboratively in an open environment to deliver results, drive innovation, and solve difficult problems. The Financial Crimes and International Trade Legal team provides coverage of sanctions, anti-money laundering, anti-fraud and anti-corruption, and international trade laws in the U.S., U.K., E.U. and numerous other jurisdictions where the Company operates. The coverage spans a broad range of business activities, including financial data and analytics, electronic trading services and execution and order management systems, news and media, software development and engineering, and venture capital investments and acquisitions, and extends to the Company’s philanthropic activity.
You will be responsible for knowing and applying financial crimes international trade laws of each relevant jurisdiction to the Company’s activities, effectively articulating the perspectives and priorities of government authorities to stakeholders across a broad range of job functions, and designing practical approaches to challenging legal questions spawned by evolving regulations and business innovation. You will closely coordinate with Compliance to support the implementation of controls and resolution of escalated issues.

Salary Range = 200,000 - 255,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
