Job Description

As a Global Facility Manager (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient, safe, and future-oriented operation of our facilities and sites outside China. Combining strategic facility management with hands-on operational responsibility, you will actively shape our workplace environment and contribute to the continuous development of our locations.

Your Responsibilities

• Facility & Site Management: Ensure the availability, functionality, safety, and operational readiness of buildings, infrastructure, and technical systems across all sites outside China.
• Location Development: Identify and evaluate potential new lease locations and support Property Management during lease negotiations and contract discussions.
• Workplace & Space Management: Coordinate relocations, workplace restructuring, space optimization, and the development of office, development, logistics, and assembly areas in line with business requirements.
• Project Management: Initiate, plan, monitor, and implement facility-related projects and initiatives that support the company's strategic objectives.
• Budget & Cost Management: Develop, manage, and optimize facility and property-related budgets, including financial forecasting, cost control, and the identification of savings opportunities.
• Operational Excellence & Compliance: Oversee daily facility operations and ensure the reliable operation of all relevant building systems in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory, safety, and compliance requirements, as well as standards defined by the main tenant in Eindhoven.
• Contract Management: Manage and negotiate service and facility-related contracts and establish strong, long-term relationships with strategic suppliers and service partners.
• Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement innovative strategies to increase efficiency, improve service quality, optimize costs, and continuously enhance the overall facility performance.

Qualifications

Profile:

• Degree in Facility Management, Industrial Engineering, Real Estate, or a comparable field.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in facility and/or property management, ideally in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial tenancy, facility management, project and budget management.
• Experience with SAP CAFM and CAD; knowledge of relevant technical standards and legislation.
• Strong stakeholder, communication, coordination, and supplier management skills.
• Structured, proactive, and service-oriented with the ability to balance global priorities and local operational needs.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.
