We are looking for an experienced Global F&A Senior Associate Director to lead strategic finance, FP&A, and finance transformation initiatives across a global organisation. The role combines financial leadership, business partnering, performance management, transformation, and strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading global finance functions, building scalable planning and reporting frameworks, and partnering with senior business leaders to translate financial insights into actionable business strategies. This role requires a strong balance of commercial acumen, analytical thinking, transformation leadership, and operational finance expertise.

You will play a key role in strengthening financial planning and forecasting, improving finance processes and systems, driving performance visibility, and supporting long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead global FP&A and strategic finance activities, including annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial performance management.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models, business plans, scenarios, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Partner with senior leadership and business stakeholders to provide actionable insights into revenue, profitability, costs, cash flow, and business performance.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives focused on process standardisation, automation, digitisation, and operating-model improvements.
• Establish scalable FP&A frameworks, planning processes, reporting structures, and performance-management mechanisms across global operations.
• Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews, providing insights into financial performance, key drivers, risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
• Develop meaningful financial and operational KPIs and dashboards to improve business visibility and accountability.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate strategic investments, growth opportunities, cost initiatives, and resource-allocation decisions.
• Drive scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, productivity improvement, margin enhancement, and sustainable value creation.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Sales, Technology, HR, and other functions to align financial plans with business objectives.
• Lead transformation programmes involving finance systems, data, reporting, planning tools, automation, and analytics.
• Improve the quality, timeliness, and consistency of management reporting and financial insights.
• Ensure strong governance, financial controls, data integrity, and adherence to established finance policies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance and FP&A teams across geographies.
• Communicate complex financial information clearly to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Identify emerging business and financial risks and provide recommendations to mitigate their impact.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 13+ years of progressive experience across FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, business finance, or finance transformation.
• Strong and proven expertise in FP&A, finance transformation, and strategic finance within a global or complex business environment.
• Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, financial modelling, scenario analysis, and performance management.
• Proven ability to partner with C-suite executives and senior business leaders on strategic financial and commercial decisions.
• Strong understanding of finance operating models, process optimisation, automation, and digital finance transformation.
• Experience leading large-scale finance transformation programmes involving systems, processes, data, reporting, and automation.
• Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to connect financial performance with operational and strategic drivers.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience building and managing high-performing FP&A and finance teams across multiple functions or geographies.
• Strong understanding of management reporting, financial controls, governance, and performance metrics.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed, and fast-paced environment.
• Strong change-management and transformation leadership capabilities.
• Experience with ERP, FP&A, BI, planning, and financial analytics platforms is highly desirable.
• A CA, CMA, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
