Job Title: Global EPR Lead (Extended Producer Responsibility)
Reports To: Senior Director, Product & Supply Chain Compliance

TE Connectivity is establishing a global Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) program to manage rising compliance obligations for Packaging, WEEE, and Batteries. The EPR Lead will serve as our internal subject matter expert, directing global strategy and third-party partnerships to ensure seamless market access. This is a critical leadership role responsible for building a scalable compliance framework and driving accountability across a matrixed, global enterprise.
As the Global EPR Lead, you will own the strategy and execution of TE Connectivity’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) program for Packaging, WEEE, and Batteries. You will translate complex, evolving global regulations into scalable compliance processes, serving as the subject matter expert to ensure market access, cost transparency, and sustainability goals are met across our matrixed organization.
Key Responsibilities
Program Strategy: Define and lead the global EPR governance model, prioritizing Packaging while managing WEEE and Battery obligations.
Regulatory Intelligence: Monitor global EPR shifts, maintain a central obligations register, and provide actionable guidance to business units.
Third-Party Management: Oversee relationships with external service providers and Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs) to ensure timely registrations and reporting.
Data & Systems: Standardize data requirements and partner with IT to automate reporting workflows, ensure audit readiness, and implement compliance dashboards.
Financial Stewardship: Forecast EPR fees, manage budgets, and identify cost-optimization opportunities.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Drive accountability across Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal to embed EPR requirements into core business decisions.
