Are you ready to be part of the change? Come join us!  ⭐

As a Global EOL Test Engineer, you will play a key role in defining, approving, and continuously improving End-of-Line (EOL) test systems across all SCM factories, ensuring robust, standardized, and efficient testing processes. You will be responsible for the approval of initial test setups and significant equipment or software modifications, while driving automation, traceability, and data integrity. Working closely with R&D, industrialization, production teams, suppliers, and external partners, you will optimize test performance, improve first-pass yield, and enhance product testability throughout the industrialization process. Through the deployment of advanced testing technologies and automation solutions, you will contribute directly to higher product quality, increased production efficiency, and operational excellence on a global scale.

Your mission will be…

  • Design, develop, and implement End-of-Line (EOL) test systems, including hardware architecture, test sequences, automation concepts, and software solutions.
  • Define and maintain global EOL testing standards, ensuring compliance with product requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Approve initial EOL setups and significant modifications to test equipment, software, and related investments across SCM factories.
  • Integrate measurement equipment, sensors, communication interfaces, control systems, and data acquisition solutions to ensure robust traceability and reporting.
  • Lead commissioning, validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities to enhance test performance, reliability, first-pass yield, and cost efficiency.
  • Drive test automation initiatives and scalable testing solutions to support new product introductions and product variants.
  • Act as the global SCM testing expert, partnering with R&D, PLM, industrialization, production teams, suppliers, and external partners to define testing requirements and ensure product testability.
  • Support design reviews, FMEA activities, industrialization projects, and the deployment of best practices across all manufacturing sites.
  • Define, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for EOL testing effectiveness and continuous improvement.

We are looking for someone with…

  • Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a comparable field
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing automated test systems or EoL setups
  • Strong knowledge of measurement technology (acquisition systems, sensors, instrumentation)
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Modbus, Ethernet/IP)
  • Proficiency in JAVA and C programming for developing test software and testbenches.
  • Understanding of hardware design and debugging
  • Familiarity with production environments and industrialization processes
  • Knowledge of quality standards and validation processes
  • Analytical mindset with a structured and problem-solving approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally
  • Availability to perform this role 100 % on-site
